Well, I've now read this thread "top to bottom" this time instead of the usually "last entry first" - in comproller speak it's LIFO - last in first out.
I'm still waiting for the KITTTen to PURRRRRRRRRRRR :!: :lol:

I'm taking the plunge to sign up as a demonstrator but am waiting until January so I can get that extra stamp set for free. Is it possible to join this forum so I can get my feet wet ahead of time or do I have to have my demonstrator number first?
Your post here is in the public areas, not in actual demonstrator forums. This thread was just a reminder to all demo'rs to confine all demo'r related topics in those forums.

One of the options in the drop down list is the Demo's Only forum...it is an amazing resource for us to use and to keep "our little demo secrets" in LOL

It's not just comptroller speak - it's inventory speak!! Since my "real job" (aka the job that pays the bills for now but not my fun SU! job LOL) is in inventory management and I'm a CPIM, I realized exactly what LIFO is.

I'm trying to join the SU Demo Forum - can you help? I submitted my application two days ago and still haven't received an email saying I've been accepted. I submitted my request again a minute ago. Is there something else I need to do?
I am computer challenged... I tried to sign up on this and I must have missed something? Or deleted the message sent to me? I will try it again and see what happens. :oops:
ok, so i have a question. it says my status is pending in the demo. group. but i haven't been aware of how to use the "group" thing. if i am in pending status, how do i get out of it? help!

I applied this afternoon after I called SU and got my number. I'm still pending... how long do you think it will take before I get an email for the forum?
Just an FYI-I try and add members 2 or 3 times a day, and I live on the East Coast. If it takes more than 24 hours to get approval, please send me a PM and I will check.

okay I know this has been asked but- I just got the email that I am in the stampin up demonstrator group, but I still can't find it. I go under forums but I don't see Building your business. someone please help me.

Shawna, if you go to the forums page the top of the page will now be SU forums that were not there before...Growing your business is that main heading then it will have DEMO CHIT CHAT, WORKSHOP IDEAS...etc.
a reminder-if you have tried to register for the demos only forum and have not received any information saying you have access, check your inbox and you will see a message from me with directions. If you have not gotten the message, please PM me or e-mail [email protected].

You need to click on the little arrow on the right of the words fan club...it is a drop down menu and you will see the SU demos Forum as an option on the drop down menu!
I'm with one of the other posters. I applied a while ago and haven't heard anything. I joined an SU yahoo group and found out they sent my membership invitation to an obscure Yahoo email that I didn't know about. Don't want that to happen!

I would resubmit your info and mention it to Britta that you are sending info again...then see what she has to say! It may just have been lost in route.
Ok, I am ready to join this now that I have my demo #. I have been clicking on the link provided up it keeps saying "page cannot be displayed" maybe there are parts of the site still down?
I can't wait to get on the demo only forum! I read this entire thread and I have already waited days just to get back here and now I have to wait at least 24 hours to get to the demo forum - bummer - whiny today, aren't I?
Some people may be having the same problem I encountered: I didn't realize I needed to login to the forum page (having been a year or so since I've logged in at all!) Once I did, the SU Forums popped up right where they were supposed to be.
