I have started using mineral spirits and crayola pencil crayons. I LOVE THE EFFECT.
Here is my problem are the art pencils in the catty on page 229 going to work with the mineral spirits.
I am a demo and I have to use SU products and I just don't want to get them and not have them work.
I will post this in the demo section also.
Thanks for any help.
I am not a demonstrator, but I have used the SU watercolor pencils with mineral spirits. It actually works very well with them. I used them together before I bought my Prismacolor pencils and I was very happy with the effect. The only drawback is that your color options are more limited with the SU watercolor pencils.
Carole - How do you use the mineral spirits and what happens when you use it with our water color pencils. I am a demo and am always looking for new things to interest my customers. Thank you in advance. Verda
I am looking at the art pencils...they look more like "kids" pencil crayons.
I have always read that the watercolours do not work with mineral spirits so I never tried.........I am now though.
I just like how the mineral spirits blends and does not make the paper ...ball...pilly........I don't know what to call how the blender pens make the paper go when you are working the colour.
