April Specials from SU

Other than the discount on the demo kit for the month of April... No specials for loyal customers of Stamp-in up this month? Probably just as well as my bank account can not afford another DEAL like last months!

It's funny, there were never monthly specials before, just sporatic ones here and there. Now people expect specials.

What I don't get is why didn't SU inform the demo's about the 30% in March, incase they had anyone signing up? I feel bad for anyone that just signed up within the month of March. Bet they are all kicking themselves about the 30% off!

Smart demos will encourage new recruits to wait until the next quarter rather than sign up in March since they'll have no time to start a client base before they have to meet the $300 for the "first full quarter." And they did announce it early so I wouldn't fault SU. They have always kept the monthly specials fairly quiet until the actual month.

Also, if someone signed up in March they got a free stamp set. They don't get that in April. Even better, if they signed in Jan. or Feb. they got two free stamp sets. But some months there's no special at all for signing up.

Usually if someone has decided to sign up, they should just go for it. There's no point in worrying about whether or not there might be a terrific special the next month.

There's often incentives going on for demos as well. For example if someone signed in March she has an extra month to work on sales for getting a couple of free hostess sets from the new catalog. Usually the benefits of signing up "now" out weigh the benefits of waiting to see what possible special there might be.

Plus people signing up in April will not get Sincere Salutations.

I still think those who signed up in Jan/Feb got the best deal! Free stamp set, any price plus SS! What could be better?

You're right, they did let demos know about the $30 off thing before April.

I have someone interested in signing up right now. I'm hoping she'll go for the $30 off deal. Also, she won't have to meet her min. sales requirement until the end of Sept. now!

I know this is a sore subject for some, but in the Getting Started video, doesn't the demo mentions SU's monthly specials?
