Oh...and I totally forgot...
I was sooo surprised it took so long for someone to start a thread about seeing the mini. When I got up Fri morning and saw it was up I watched the threads all day. Took a while this time around, hehe. Glad everyone is excited!
We can show the real thing in paper and ink (in person) on April 1 but not post any electronic copy until May, if I understand it right. That's how I understand it anyway. ????
That's right. Any demo is allowed to post pictures of projects made with preordered items beginning April 1, but not the actual brochure. Also, only items that were able to be preordered can be shown or discussed. I think SU likes to keep a few surprises up their sleeves, lol!;)
I have looked at what gallery pictures are already uploaded, there is a section under SU Galleries, summer mni. These are cards that some have already made with what they received early.

Yes, there were some very lucky demos who got a few sets from the summer mini at convention or leadership or something like that! There are a few examples in that gallery already, how exciting! Is it April 1 yet???? :-)
I was just checking the gallery under the summer mini and noticed some sets have "wheel builder" next to them. Can anyone explain what it means? Sounds interesting!

seriously.. you'll start seeing sneak peeks really soon. I can tell you there's some pretty cool stuff. My birthday is this month and my hubby asked me what I wanted.. I told him that the mini was pretty much my birthday wish list:-)
I know not everyone is blown away by the new mini, my demo isn't that impressed. There is one stamp set she likes and a couple other items intrigue her but otherwise, not.
I think it's the suspense and build up that get us crazy. If a some hype it up as being fantastic, we're all over it and can't wait. But still it's personal taste, right?
It's like when someone says, "I have a secret but I'm not going to tell you." Well, just don't tell me you have a secret if you're not going to share!
Apples to oranges, no demo started this post, no demo was saying they have a secret. It was someone else asking about the new mini and all demos are saying that it's against our policy to post the link just yet.
Now if a demo were to start a thread with a "neener neener I saw the mini and you can't"...well, than I'd agree with you!
Well, I guess we could take advantage of the Sale-A-Bration offer and get the demo kit cheap...then we'd be "in the know". Trust me...I'm kicking it around! (Yes, I have a demo that I would sign up under already...)

Yup, seeing it all early is one of the many perks of being a demo. It really is one of the reasons I signed up...had to be in the know:-) And the SAB offer is the best time to sign up...I did just that last year. If everyone got to see it at the same time that takes away the "perk" for us demos. It also gives us time to plan what to buy and to demo for you.
We aren't trying to hold anything over your head, as another demo said, this thread was not started by a demo!
And yes, mum is the word. We are not supposed to talk about it online or post it until the 1st. We can however show you the actual catty in person whenever we get it (I've heard people are getting them now). For some reason SU posted the PDF for us early which is cool but it does make the wait longer!

There is much more coming. That's only what some demos have gotten for free so far. Come early April you'll see more things pop up. Granted, not everyone likes everything (although I love almost everything in it) there is a lot of variety this time around.

I'm sorry, I think my post was taken the wrong way. I wasn't calling anyone out. I just meant that it's like when someone has a secret but doesn't tell you, it drives you nuts wondering what it is and everyone talks about it waiting and wondering. So it's kind-of like the mini is the secret and we all get to chat and try to figure out clues to what's going to be in it. That's why I say, "just don't tell me" becuase then I won't be in suspense forever :p
I hope that makes sense. I promise, it wasn't meant to be anything mean directed at anyone. :-D
