How is it that I've signed up twice in store and twice online over the past 4 months to receive emails and coupons from Joanns and I've yet to receive anything? I mean seriously, how long does it take to update a database and get things moving. My mom in San Diego gets her coupons and flyers in the mail, but here in Los Angeles, nada. I'm mad!!! Any suggestion?
You know what, I just figured it out! My husband has sabotaged me so I won't try to spend any money. That's what it is. And that's also why when I send him to the store on Sunday to buy me a paper there is rarely a Michaels coupon in it, but mysteriously when I buy a paper, its almost always in there.
Same thing here, in fact when I was in JoAnns last time lady asked me to sign up and I said why? I have filled it out a zillion times but never receive anything in the mail either. She was shocked that I hadn't but I told her I was done filling the stupid things out. I think its not very good customer service.
I know - their service is spotty. I signed up and got a couple of coupons then they just stopped. So I signed up again, got one coupon and now nothing.
Shouldn't the principle be - continue receiving coupons until you opt out?

I'm sorry but I had to LOL when I saw this thread title. My mother's name is Joann and she really meddled in my life this week. So...YES. I'm most definitely having Joann issues.

I get a gajillion emails from them, for their online, and their embroidery machine design sales and coupons for online, and the occasional printer ready coupon for in the store, but I NEVER get them in the mail.

Actually somebody at my local paper told me once that if some companies do ads/coupons in the paper to your zip code, that sometimes they then filter their mailing lists by zip code to save duplications. Maybe that could be the problem - in which case, you can't do anything about it.
