Forgive me if this has been posted before my I am a newbie to the forum (been perusing the gallery for more than a year) My name is Amy (35), and I am in West Michigan...Middleville, MI which is about 25 miles south of Grand Rapids to be precise. I just started stamping about a year ago and got into it with alphabet stamps to use in scrapbooking first. Now I am a rubber stamp addict! I like geometrical stamps, retro stamps, flower stamps, and cute animal stamps the most. My favorite stamps would have to be SU (just signed up today to be a demo again!) But I also buy a lot of others: CTMH, Savvy, A Muse, Eureka, Hero Arts, TT, Impression-Obession just to name a few. There are only 2 stamping stores that are relatively near me (30 min away): Stamp On It and The Wooden Block (but she is going out of business any day now). Stamp On It has tons of classes to learn techniques but I am not really into that. I just love a HUGE selection of stamps!
I would love to hear more about all of you!
Oh yeah - I unmounted all of my stamps, mounted them on EZ Mount and have them stored on EZ Mount Panels in 3-Ring binders!
I'm Kim, from Clinton Township. I was a bit reluctant to get into the whole stamping thing as I have so much invested in scrapbooking. Guess what? I think my stamping hobby has come in as a close second if not passed up my scrapbooking hobby, if you know what I mean.
There's a few stores in our area. We're kind of lucky. I still like Stampin' Up products. I've never ordered from the other companies, but will pick up an occasional stamp here and there at various stores.
Hello to you! I'm from Holland, so not too far away from you. I started scrapbooking years ago, then gradually started stamping. In the last year or two, stamping has become my #1 obsession. I am going to sign up as an SU demo this month. I am so excited!

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
I'm in Shelby Twp. near Jen70, labullard and few others aren't to far off either.
Somehwere in your town this weekend I think is a resale day that my sister in law is going to. I just know she's going to find me Wildlife for a meer five dollars!
I love all stamp companies!
Welcome to the sight!
Hello from another resident of beautiful Barry County! We live about halfway between Battle Creek and Hastings in the middle of nowhere. I've been stamping for 6 years. Prefer cards, haven't gotten into scrapbooking yet. I have an awesome SU demo so I'm a true-blue SU customer. I do enjoy checking out the stamp stores, tho, for fun. If you ever get down that way, the one in Battle Creek (Stamp By Design and Scrapbook Treasures) has a pretty good selection of stamps. Isn't SCS just the best site ever?! Happy stamping!
Hi Amy. Welcome to SCS! I am in your neighborhood (sort of - I live in Hastings and work in GR). I love Stamp On It; it's a great store. Never heard of the Wooden Block, but I guess if they're closing, I don't need to know where it is
is in Jenison, MI, right next to Pages in Time (scrapbooking store). Last week she had everything in her store 30% off! It was a new store...not even in business for a whole year I don't think. Great selection of wood mounted and acrylics from the top companies. She is going out because the scrapbk store offered her a management position for their store.
I don't that far away just across the boarder, I live 15min. from windsor, but shop all the time in the states. Next weekend I'm going to the ikea store.

OOOH you're brave...........I think I might wait a month til the crowds die down!
Hello from Springport, south of Lansing. I've been stamping for about a year and a half. Love it and love the fact that so many others do too. It's great stress relief!!
Hi everyone ! I am from somewhere near west Michigan ( have to keep it a secret from my 2 Secret Sister swaps ) I know there are many more Michiganders here and they have had 1 or 2 get togethers already in Monroe, MI.
Waving hello from Clarkston (just south of Pine Knob Music Theater/Ski Hill).
Welcome to SCS!
Graduated from Troy High School :-) (quite awhile ago...don't ask!)
Have a stamp-happy day! :-)
I used to live in Clarkston. We moved to Waterford 2 years ago. Have you been to the new Maggie's Scrapbooking store? I haven't been yet, but DS will be going to SCAMP just around the corner this summer. I'll probably be there a lot!
Greetings from Ortonville! I'm about 5 miles north of Pine Knob (not far at all from happystamper05). Grew up in Jasper, which is in the SE part of the state, just 3 miles fom the Ohio border. Have also lived in Ann Arbor, Waterford, and Lake Orion.

Hi! I'm from Six Lakes -- a VERY small town in the middle of the state -- about 40 minutes west of Alma and South of Mt. Pleasant.
I have a couple of relatives in Six Lakes/Lakeview!! My Grandma lived there until she passed away and I have two aunts who live their now. Maybe you know them. My parents live in Greenville but they attend a church in Six Lakes I think.
