Default Angel Policy Question

My mom is a caterer in a very small town in Kentucky. She was so excited yesterday.....she called to tell me that she has started stamping on her cakes. Since I'm having my SU Party next weekend, I told her I'd keep it open for a little while for her so that when she gets here (she's coming to visit) she can order. I was looking through the cattie thinking about the cool stuff she can do.....then it hit me that she's selling wedding cakes. How does she address copyright issues and what not with that? And, is it even legal period?? I don't know if she'd go for having a little sign that says the copyright info by her cake.

Here's her website if ya wanna see it....I haven't put any stamped cakes on there yet. But I will as soon as I can get some images!!

I don't know, I would think that it would be the same as cards and such. The cakes are very pretty though.

Yes, I believe this would be the same thing as any stamped item. She would only be able to sell these "stamped" cakes at a craft fair or similar event. I don't even think they could be posted on a website if she is selling them. I would e-mail Stampin' Up to get the answer in righting. The Angel Policy is defined more at www.stampinup.com under "legal".

Good luck!

I agree with e-mailing SU to ask. I did that on another Angel Policy question and they got back to me that day!
