I've made a card or two at my demo's with some and they look OK, but I'm not excited about it enough to get any.
Hahahahaha - I DO remember that stuff!

Some people can use this so beautifully and I'm not one of them. Love your ideas since this is how I use mine. I received it as a gift and often use it for gift wrapping too as well as a make shift band aid for small cuts on fingers when I don't want the bulk of a real band aid. Gift wrapping helps use up those yards and yards of it.

Default Washington tape in planner

I was really enchanted with the life planners I saw on you tube, but not with the prices. So I got a cheapo planner from office max, some cheap stickers and some washi to create a planner I am loving. I have used the washi to denote several vacations I am taking (retired and ready to travel... Africa first!)
But I can't really see myself using it on cards.

I have a few rolls. I've tried it on a few cards. I'm just not a fan either. I find I'm using it more to keep things in place until it's die cut or stamped. I see others use it and I think it's cute, but I'm just not getting into it for some reason or another. I'm fine with this too.

I gotta say, I didn't really like the stuff at first. I didn't really 'get it'. It's definitely growing on me.

I found a cute wood washi tape dispenser on clearance at Target a few weeks ago. It came with a few rolls of washi tape too. Love the dispenser, hate the cheap washi tape - I couldn't get most of the rolls to even come off the roll without shredding. I'll stick with Stampin' Up! washi tape from now on.

I have a board on Pinterest for ideas of what to do with washi tape: Washi Tape on Pinterest

I think using Washi tape is to decorate the mundane such as calendars, planners, stationery is one of the best uses. It isn't about precision it is about adding a little color/decoration.

I haven't used it a lot but I like the idea of it and I think marking tools and calendars are legitimate fun uses.
