Default Adhesives

Where do you find the least expensive adhesive. I make tons of cards, and am always running out, and I buy the refills for the memory makers, or the ones from SU. Sometimes from Michaels, but they are really pricey. Even Walmart isn't cheap. Any suggestions?

I never did like those tapes, seems they come apart unless you put about a foot of tape on the paper! So I have mastered the use of the good ole tacky glue for most of my gluing. I use the other tapes for just a few places, like holding ribbon in place before gluing. Really holds well.

after trying several different types of adhesives I've settled in on glue dots (ultra thin) and Scotch double stick tape. Seems to work well for me.

I have different adhesives that I use depending on what I'm adhering - I have tombo (good for crap unless used on ribbon IMO), Herma tabs (putsy, but I sometimes cut the squares in half to save some), mini glue dots (great for buttons), and scotch double stick tape.

I bought a tape dispenser ($4) at Staples and now use it exclusively for the double stick tape - and the tape is cheaper if you buy the rolls that go in the dispenser.

I just bought 24 Tombow refills (that's the minimum for the better price) from www.penwa.com. It works out to be 2.50 per instead of 4.50 when you buy them singly at a craft store. They work well for me. Geri
