Reason: Update on availability
Hi!, All... With our warmer weather and the scent of blooming flowers wafting through the windows in the evening, I've been keeping busy with my floral stamp sets. I have pulled the ones I've used quite a bit -- stamped a dozen of each on card fronts for future coloring, or cut them out with their dies, and am offering them up. Flowers are my favorite theme and I have too many stamps, but know I will pick more up in the future (my Achilles heel). PM me with whatever interests you and I will pick up the shipping cost. Thank you...
P.S. My husband is making pizza (another passion of mine), so I'll check back in an hour or so.
ALL STAMPS ARE SPOKEN FOR. Thank you!
If I didn't know any better, I would swear you all spoke with each other and decided what to ask for before contacting me.

Lercy, It is the same way here. Three different people requested things, and none were the same. Which is awesome!
I'll try to get those in the mail early in the week.
Pizza sounds yummy! Glad you are getting to work with your floral stamps. Cats are my weakness! lol...
Ice Skate Kate was sent to me by Grandma Sue. I really enjoyed coloring Kate; she was fun to color.
I also wanted to share what I did with some of the ribbon that Scrapjanny sent. Ribbon card Ribbon card #2
I was able to make three backgrounds with the gold ribbon.
I also have some pretty ribbon recently sent to be from desertdeb. I will be using it on some cards also.

Hi all. I wanted to ask how you are mailing things? Do you just go to the post office? The cost of shipping is getting ridiculous.
I try to select items to give away that I can place in an envelope with stamps. I guess at the number of stamps I need. If I am sending several items to the same address and a USPS mailer is a better choice or actually costs less than the stamps, I use one. I mail everything from my mailbox. I am not driving, so anything else places the burden on my husband. He did mention getting a scale so I could weigh it if needed.
I go to P.O. To be sure I get the right postage on it. Today it wasn’t out of the way, as I always plan my route, and had other errands, so, P.O. was between bank and where we went out to eat. . In other words, I usually don’t make a special trip to go to the P.O.
Yes, postage is getting high. I have only had to pay for one thing as a package so far, sometimes you can split up in two envelopes which makes it cheaper than going as a package. My P.O. always wants me to mail things as a package! If it is too thick or too many ounces. That makes it 5.00!
If you go to the PO to mail, my PO will automatically put a tracking # on it and I think that is about $2.00 per package/envelope. I was told that it was not optional. I don't know if it is like that at all POs. They used to ask, or you could say no tracking. I try to put stamps on my things and drop it in the outside mailbox at the PO. There is no tracking # but it saves money. I have a scale; if I am in doubt of correct postage then I will add another stamp (such as a thick envelope.)
This is useless info for Americans, lol, but I've also just learnt via this group that a small New Zealand Post bubble envelope cost $35 to America, whereas two standard envelopes containing about the same volume of items was around $7! I kept the envelopes under 1cm thick, and they sailed through. No tracking tho. My post office is located in a local gift shop by the beach (called Moby Dickens, lol) and is about 2-3 mins' drive away, so it's not a hardship to pop in any time. We don't have collection from our post boxes on the street; in fact we only get deliveries three times a week these days.
I am so glad you asked this, as I meant to ask you about it. I just mail mine from home. I bought an inexpensive electronic mailing/kitchen scale from amazon. Then I go to the USPS website and hover the mouse over Send, then I click on Calculate a price. I enter the zip codes, put in the weight and click on Calculate a price based on Shape and Size (has pic icon), and I ignore all the other options on that page. Then I enter how many ounces it is, and whether I am sending it as a letter or a large envelope. If it is small, I can usually send it as a letter, and I just put it in a regular letter envelope. If not, I use the Large envelope option, and I put it in a plain clasp mailing envelope (no bubbles inside) and mail it with regular postage stamps. It cannot be over 1/4 inch thick. But that has been working for me well. On the next page, I click "None of the following", as long as it isn't square, odd shaped etc.., and on the next page, scroll down to the First Class Mail Stamped Letter, or First Class Large Envelope option, and it shows you what the postage would be. I hope that helps. I remember seeing what the postage cost you on the item you sent me, and it was higher than it would have cost if mailed differently.
It sounds like a lot of steps, but once you do it a time or two, it is easy.

Thank you for such a detailed response. I am low tech, so I just go to the post office, but it is spendy. I don't have a printer or scale, so right now that is the best option and I don't mail out much other than the cards that I make. I am going to consider options though. What you do seems like a good solution.
