I use Staedtler Triplus Fineliner. Also works great for those times when your image doesn't stamp quite perfect. You can touch up with the pen and have a most perfect stamped image.

I usually just doodle at my desk.....so I just use whatever I have handy...even a #2 pencil! I actually think that is more daydreaming! I havent doodled on my projects much but I did just case a card from loislane35 and my customers LOVED the doodling on the edges. They all had their own way of doing it and we just used the SU markers.
sorry....got lost in my card making fantasies and meant to say I cased from loislane25....and awesome Christmas card!! Oh how I wish it were time to go home!
I have a set of Signo gel sticks in .07, Micron pens in .05 that I use mostly for scrapbooking, a set of extra fine Sharpies that I use for envelopes and on other packing materials, a set of Susan Branch brush tip markers received as a gift that I use for cards but don't think they are archival and I have a few old Evanscraft Ultimate Craft Pens which came in some unusual colors (these are pretty old, but still working). I like to pick up pens when they are on sale, because I seem to go through a lot of them.

Very interesting thread! I have only ever doodled (only a few times) with my SU! markers. I just use the fine-tip end so that it matches my other colors.
SU! has turned me into a "matchy-matchy" freak!
