No actually, you can enter anonymously so your friends won't know and if you win, that is fair!!! ...and you WOULD win... I've seen your work! That is fine; you deserve a prize!

Oh no they would know...they know my work here now too...GRRRR... but thanks for the compliment!!! LOL
Ok you can count me in on this one. I would love to touch the hearts of our fellow troops. Plus, I have a few great ideas up my sleeve!! I have so much to do. Pack, move, clean, two workshops, but I have to do this. DUTY CALLS!! Please keep me updated.
I will participate also! :-) I'm thinking I will send ?# for the contest, but also extras just for you to include, if that's OK. I could recycle outdated samples that way.

Hi Keri,
I sent you a large envelope of cards yesterday. I included some for the troops to use and some Valentines to send to the troops. This is such a wonderful cause!!
I'm sending three cards today, and plan on making more. My neighbor is a Chaplain in the Navy, and I just sent 60 cards over with him. I want to make some more to send him too, so I'll just do double and send some your way too. Thanks for doing this!
Lisa
In the mail tomorrow......5 cards, 10 envelopes, $5.00, name, username, e-mail addy, hand written note to the troops.......ohoh sure hope I didn't include my tissue, writing that note made me cry, I'm such a baby!!!!! Thank you again Keri for inspiring us to think of others who are giving so much for all of us
Girls the count is up to NINETEEN PEOPLE and some are doing multiple cards!!! We are going to get 100 cards to the troops yet!!! Is anyone else as excited as I am?????

I really hate my handwriting. Would it be ok if I send typed letters?
suzi
OF course! If some people don't want to write in their cards I am going to just type up some notes and slip them in there... not a problem to even send them blank...I can just stick some in if you would rather... But feel free to type...
Hi,
I was just curious if you wanted these cards to be say "holiday specific?"
Ex: Valentines Day will be here soon, and those guys/girls could use a little love, hope, and smiles.
Just a thought?
Thanks for the motivation for the troops!!!

THanks for your interest Shelia, however since Valentines day is so close and the contest doesn't end in time a general card would be best I would think!
I have the first eight cards!!!!! Thanks to Jstarbringht and Ponygirl!!!
They are GREAT!!! Ponygirl, what adhesive did you use so that the paper inside is removeable??? I LOVE IT!!! I would really like to know!
It's Scotch removable double sided tape. It looks just like the permanent kind, and I always seem to pick up the removable kind, not noticing until I get home and start to use it. Then I get mad at myself for not paying close enough attention and vow to double check next time, and then I do it again... At least this way I can use up some of the 5 rolls I bought  It was the kids fault, they distracted me, and that's the story I'm sticking to.
There are two more cards with the tape on them heading your way, with more ideas in my head to make into cards to send to you too.
Thanks for getting all of us busy on such a great project!
Lisa
I made three more to send to you today, but I had given all my $1 bills to the bagger at the commissary this morning. So, I hope you don't mind that I put a $5 bill in with one of the cards. If you get a couple of cards from me with no money in it, the funds are on it's way! Keep the extra for envelopes, or add it to the prize money, whichever you want to use it for
You are so welcome Keri. As I re read all the posts I think I was supposed to put a note for each card, I only sent one, sorry!! Guess I am not so " bright" after all
Keri, I will try to get some cards out by sat. should the notes we write be writen in the card or should they be on a removeable piece of paper so the troops can send them out? I also like to decorate the envelope so I will send them in a large yellwo envelope if thats ok.
