You really can't go wrong - Signing up in April gives you until the END of SEPTEMBER to come up with your first $300 order. Any of you who have been on the fence, NOW IS THE TIME TO SIGN UP!!! Call your demo today!
I totally agree call your demo TODAY!!!! Add on the scrapbook kit too!! It is a very good deal since it is $30 off the starter kit... so $219 for the starter kit w/scrapbook kit.. awesome
Since it is out there already I will respond. The $30 off your starter kit is from SU! and was just posted on the Demo SU! Website yesterday...so don't get in a huffy if your demo hasn't told you about it, they might not check the demo site EVERY day some people have other responsiblities. You can get the paper work to sign up from your demo...or find one on the demo locator if you don't currently have one. You have until the end of September to meet your first $300 qouta. So you have all summer to sell, after that you need to have a total $300 every three months.
So if this is something you have thinking about, its a great deal and you have several months to give it a try...no one will take your Bday away if you decide that it isn't for you. The kit is a great value just for the stamps and supplies!!
It seems to me that it would be better not to get the Scrapbooking Add-on (at 40% off) but to add those items to your first hostess order. You get 30% commission on your first hostess order (20% after that), plus if you are the hostess you also get the hostess benefits that are worth almost 20% or more if you count the free hostess set plus the free merchandise. Plus you get the credit towards your sales and your Stampin' Start (earn more free sets!). I guess it depends on when you want to spend the money, but it's worth a thought. Either way, it's a fabulous deal!
With the price difference- it means $45.00 off the starter kit for new Canadian demonstrators. Wahoo!! Just in time for Spring into Action as well as an excellent opportunity for even more free sets for Stamp and Start!! This is awesome!!
Talk about Happy Stampin'!!!!

I started out by having a regular monthly date for people to come over and stamp and work on their scrapbooks. I always had a make and take (usually a card) so that people would want to order from me. After a while, people invited friends, so we had a nice group. When the new catalog came out I offered a Stampers Club. Each person that wished to participate would order $15 per month for 10 months. They would get a free catalog, and the hostess benefits for one of the months. You really don't even need 10 people, most order over $15 and you can count yourself in for 1 or 2 slots if you need to. I have done a club for 4 years now. THis is the first year I actually filled it (10) so no hostess benefits for me, but every order has been well over $300. I highly recommend having a monthly order going in. THat makes it sooo easy to make your minimums. I can place outside orders that come in any time, but having that monthly club order going in on the 20th keeps me on track. Occasionally hostesses will want a home workshop to boost their benefits.
