It’s my turn to host the Free 4 All Friday Challenge this week.
I got an email from my teamie, Francie with a suggestion for this week's F4A...here it is: Make a card that reflects what you like to do, or wish you could do, in your free time. Everyone apologizes for "cheating when they "stretch" the challenge interpretations. Cheating is just being creative. A beautiful floral bg can show that you like gardening, cute animals could represent that you wish you lived on a farm and could take care of animals, a pretty scene card can show that you like to hike in gorgeous places. A really gorgeous card with no relationship to a hobby can show that your hobby is making cards.
My challenge to you: Make a card showing your interest

Thank you so much ladies!

Robin- great challenge, thanks! I love visiting farms, especially with beautiful gardens and animals. We have a heritage style farm here which inspired my card, made with stamps from a garage sale. Did some paper layering, fussy cutting and finished with 2 ribbons. Here's Visiting the farm

This challenge was both easy and hard at the same time because I have SO MANY hobbies, I didn't which to focus on first!!! So I started with knitting ths morn . . . and maybe when I get off work today, I'll have time to choose another . . .
Here is my card! I would spend 24 hours a day in my craft room, if i could! Unless, my grandkids are around. Then they take over my interest! LOL And sometimes, I even get on of them in there with me! My granddaughter and I actually scrap together!
Fantastic challenge today, Robin! I have so many ideas in my head of cards I could make depicting my many interests; nature, flowers, birds, reading, card making! I settled on birds as we are having so much fun identifying many different birds this Spring on our property; latest spotted: an Indigo Bunting : )
Here is my second Set of cards for today . . . Another passion of mine is MUSIC - I am the director / lead singer / bass player for Joyful Noise (my Christian Rock Group). At age 68, I sometimes think about 'retiring' but the other members (all 20-50 years younger than me) won't hear of it. So weekly I load up all my equipment and head off to 'Praise the Lord'!
I look forward to browsing the gallery hopefully tomorrow. In my free time I like to make cards, read, scrapbook, play music. I play piano and flute and also sing. Of those past-times, the only one I have stamps to represent them is the music. Fun to have an excuse to get these stamps out - and even learn who made them background and piano stamps! Here is my card:

What a great challenge! If I had time and by the looks of my sad flower beds.... I don't... I would grow an old time flower garden... foxgloves, holly hocks, roses, sweet peas... you get the picture.... **SIGH**
I have been away from cardmaking for much of this year & are only just getting back into it & trying to find my mojo - so I am using some of the SCS Challenges that I have missed as a springboard to spark my creativity. My interests are gardening/botanical photography and painting teddy bears (and collecting them!) - more info in my card write-up which explains it better.
This card went to a friend who lives on the other side of Australia just to say how ♥loved♥ they are.
