This challege was just perfect. I had these beautiful scaps left over fron a tin I made my friend and knew I had to make a card with the scraps. Thanks, Jen! Here's my card: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
This was fun! I picked a punch and paper and then just let the design follow from there. It's neat when you let the pieces just come on their own and it actually turns out decent. Better get back in there and keep stamping before I loose my mojo.
Here is my "punchy for love" card! most of my scraps are solid paper at this time, i used alot of my patterned paper up over the holidays... hope i still qualify!
i removed my card

Great challenge. I have enough scraps I could fill a gallery...! This also gave me a chance to play around with some Cuttlebug dies, as well as finish some card bases that have been sitting around for quite a while. Thanks to several of you for layout ideas.
So, with your scraps of patterned paper, I want you to use shape punches... ovals, circles, squares, images such as flowers and leaves, and even the word window would work. Please read the following for more specific instructions.
Was this confusing?
Please understand that I will only be commenting on cards that use patterned paper for punches. You may use additional patterned paper on your cards, but you need some patterned paper punches, too. That was the main idea of the challenge. The additional restrictions were to make the punches shine and be noticed. Thanks for your understanding.

Not confusing at all, Jen ;). I didn't link to the challenge, because I ended up using too many embellishments! LOL.. Back to the drawing board... I have such a challenge being limited..hehe.
Here's mine...FLYING GEESE
The way the instructions were written, the punches are embellishments?
Punched squares then cut on the diagonal to make the squares.

Oops! I guess the feather put me into the embellishment rule-breaking category-I have ribbon too, but I punched a hole for the feather, so I can't take it off-sorry Jen :(
I removed my link...I didn't even read all this before posting.....we must all be on holiday/not paying attention
I have been staring at this one for an hour wondering what else to do, but I reread the limits and realized I was there. Besides I like what I have and am afraid anything else would be too much.
I received a PM from a fairly new challenger. Let me just say that I didn't mean to offend anyone with my frustrations. And it has been frustrating. This takes time and effort to post each week. Today brought quick remembrances of the difficulties we experienced last summer with the LSC and sketch challenges and people making the challenges what they wanted instead of the true challenge. People's feelings were hurt during that time, but we got past it. Today, reminded me of that time. And I truly wanted to know was it my explanation that was confusing... or was it people rushing through the directions, skipping parts, missing the sample, and just reading it they way they wanted it to be? I really don't know. But many people have made mistakes. I'm not singling anyone out. Having people quit the challenges because of this certainly was not my intention.
Following the past difficulties, I have gone the path of least resistance. The challenges have not been very limiting. Today, I decided to try a true limited challenge. It has rules. It is a challenge. That's what makes it fun!
Please play fair. There are people who are following the guidelines that want your comments, too. They may not be as flashy without the mega amounts of embellishing, but they are sitting next to ones that are that didn't follow the rules.
Again, thank you for your understanding.
I'm having major internet problems, today. And I'm having company over soon. I'll try and check back later.

This is difficult to see, but the snowflakes are punched on snowflake-patterned paper and the Giga oval is punched on the same snowflake-patterned paper. The strip is also patterned paper.
I went back and reread the challenge and in my excitment, I am one of those people who misread it. --When i reread it now it's clear as mud. In my defense my middle punch, (the flower) is punch from the same paper as the written background.
Sorry Jen, I know you put alot of work into these challenges. I need to slow down and read better. --Thanks for this challenge, even though I didn't follow directions, I wouldn't have made this card without your inspiration.
I didn't code this as this challenge cause I wasn't sure if it qualified.
I used the word window punch & the 1/4" circle punch. The tabs on the side are the teal stripe of the double sided "Loves Me" papers, The small circle & hearts on the tabs are from another piece of the same collection. The "tuck in" pocket is a scrap that I had left over. The tag is the only thing that is stamped. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here is my card for the last 3 days. Sketch Challenge, WT challenge to use buttons on your card, and the Limited Supply Challenge to use scraps. It took 3 days to do one card. Here is my card.Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Right. Making a list. Checking it twice - oh wait! That should be out of my head by now!! Going to try this challenge now, but I made a list AND checked it twice. Going to watch What Not to Wear and stamp at the same time - could be interesting...
Wow...I did a challenge! I love Winter Break--I can play! (I'm a teacher and rarely have time to stamp when school's in. But it's my New Year's Resolution to find "balance" and make time for the things that I love!)
So here's my card...a baby announcement prototype for a friend who's expecting. Thanks for looking!
Hi everybody, I am sorry I haven't done any challenges lately. I have had a very hard holiday this year and haven't made too many cards. I am trying to get myself back into the swing of card making and had a lot of fun using scraps. My daughter Vicki begged me to try at least one challenge so this one is for her. Thank you all for your nice messages.
