WOW! WOW! I'm enjoying seeing everybody's creations!!! SO COOL!!!!! I wish I had time to comment on them all, but I'm having trouble moving through the gallery.
Suffice it to say, I am still trying just to view them, and when they do load, I am bouncin' in my seat, sayin' "Oh, WOW! I love how this design was done--and that one, Oh, and that is clever, and gee, I never thought to try this; I must make a note of that!"
FUN!!!!!
LOL I KNEW you'd be all over this challenge Julie!!! As soon as I saw it I thought of you and all your gorgeous simplistic (is that what you'd call it?) cards!!
Ivory Ivy is really pale green ivy on an ivory brick wall. I love the brick embossing template. The bricks are raised, yet sometimes on the 'puter screen they look indented. eeek an optical illusion.
Winter Wreath is not going to get many views. In the thumbnail gallery you can't even see the wreath -- white on cream. And I wish I had not made the bow gold. Oh well, live and learn.
Well, here is my very first entry into the limited supply challenge! Hope I did everything correctly.....if not, please let me know! These challenges are such fun!
Here are my cards...the first one is loosely cased from the SU IBC for the Fun Filled Stamp Set...there are NO layers at all on this card. The second one, I combined with yesterdays challenge for using a sticker... so I'm not sure if it actually qualifies for this challenge or not...if not, I will remove it from here. TFL
I just HAD to make one more card with my twiggy wreath stamp. This time I used color instead of white on white. Now you can actually see the wreath... LOL. Spring Wreath
Well, I've never tried this challenge before and I have to say I found it a bit difficult. Im a big layers girl and I had a hard time just keeping this card white:lol: Here it is: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for looking and for posting this very challenging challenge!
I needed a sympathy card, unfortunatley, so I decided to use the challenge. I justed my green chalk finger applicant without adding any more chalk. Then I used a gum eraser to remove even some more of the tint as I wanted subtle. I added the wired ribbon but had to twist it before tying so it wouldn't hide the sentiment. It's been a busy day but I found time to get one done this evening. I really like the simplicity of this style and the great way it can show off the textured cardstocks. Great examples!
I started with a piece of cream card stock and the colors that you see have been carefully masked and sponged into place. It took me three tries to get the masking right  the line you see that looks like another layer of card stock, is actually just drawn in to make it "look" like another layer.
I know it isn't quite the idea since I matted it, but I have such a hard time making mostly white cards...you gals sure have made lots of wonderful samples! (maybe next time I'll case)
LOL I KNEW you'd be all over this challenge Julie!!! As soon as I saw it I thought of you and all your gorgeous simplistic (is that what you'd call it?) cards!!
Oh, Amy, you are very kind!
I'm STILL and trying to view 'em all!
What fun fun FUN!!!!
