I went with all shades of gray. I even rubbed my flowers with slate gray ink and misted them so they would be the official colors of the day.

I just want to say, that I totally agree with you!! When you are scrolling down on the main gallery page, and get to "recent challenge uploads" all the cards are black and white, and even though they are all beautiful, it just seems odd in a way!! It does seem like black and white tv!!
