I was playing with my new stamp sets when I saw this challenge - so here are 3 Bold Brights along with two new stamp sets - Twill and Lovely Labels (which doesn't have a gallery space yet, so it's under Twill).

Soft subtles
I chose to use my least used supplies. I rarely use chalks so I used only chalks and stazon. These are pearlescent chalks from Pebbles Inc. I love the sparkle they add to a card. The colors are all soft and shimmery.

Second one
Here is another using chalks only for coloring. I did use ink on the background, but the main image is all chalks.

Here is my second attempt on this challenge.................I have read the instructions fully.......one color family to use for ink, card stock and embellishments, neutrals okay but limit them, and use only 2 colors from that family, 2 embellishments and limit the tools.
Here's my card
Friendship Flowers
Honestly I normally do play by the rules............except when there is a limit to tools! ;)

Floating Flowers
Here is my card.
I also came up with a way to use recycled materials to create "faux vellum" on this card. I wrote up a little explanation
here .
I'm in love with the way the flowers turned out, but sort of disappointed in the card over all. I think I was so excited about the faux vellum that I fizzled out on the design of the layout. And you can see my glue through the ribbon. Bummer!!! I really didn't think it was going to do that. :(
