Good challenge, Jen.
Question? Is paper piecing legal for this one? Wouldn't want to step over the line - lol.

Yes, but there should be a little bit of other black stamping on the card with it.
I think it was debils who did just that. I'll check and link.

This one went pretty quick for me and I like the results. Maybe because I had all night to think about it. Actually, I dreamed that I was in a town where a volcano was erupting. What does that say? Maybe I should wait til morning to check the challenges...TFL!

Finally got today's challenge done. I have been battling a nasty case of shingles all week, so this is the first day I have felt like stamping.
Here's mine:

It's hard to believe, but back in the 60's, the Canadian Goose was in a severe decline. My parents raised and released young ones to help boost the population. That action came to create a safe place stop over when the birds migrate to and from Canada. Twice a year, my home place becomes very populated with these birds. I cannot see one without a flood of memories. I found a stamp of a Canadian Goose that I love from Stamp Towne Ladies that I had to buy. It's perfect for this challenge. TFL!

This was fun, thanks, Jen! Can anyone help with flipping my card? A few times, I have uploaded cards and they (including this one) don't show vertically. I would appreciate any info on this!
Here is my card sideways:
