If I understood correctly, stars are okay as long as you are doing option 2 and not doing a patriotic card. (Jen used stars on her 1st card example). Correct me if Im wrong!! Sounds like a fun challenge, hoping I have time to play today. Thanks Jen for the great challenge!

Great timing! Now I can get some ideas for a card I was struggling with. We are going to an open house for a friend's son who graduated from the Air Force Academy. My DH asked if I made him a card yet - now I can tell him I was waiting for just the right challenge ;D. Thanks for the incentive!
When I first started reading the challenge this morning, I thought I had lucked out as I had just made a patriotic card a couple of days ago. As I read on, a "no stars" light bulb went off and I realized my card did not qualify. As I was giving my dog a bath, I came up with the thought for this one. I don't think it is a card I could send to just anyone as someone may take it the wrong way. I have an older friend who says I have an "off the wall" sense of humor so I guess that sense of humor kicked in gear this morning.
I hope I am not repeating - I started a post but it has vanished in cyberspace, I guess.
I just finished an outright case of papermoon04, so here it is: CASE for lsc120 by etsdas at Splitcoaststampers
Shelly does a great job, and mine certainly does not attain her level, but I had fun doing it.

Here's mine! I haven't done the challenges for a long time, so I hope I did this right! It was intended to be a birthday card, but it sort of fits both requirements, sorry!
Hope its all right to make a patriotic card despite that I live in Sweden! This is US for me, when I grow up we loved your cars and music!
Here is my card!
Bekah's b-day is for my niece's 13th birthday June 30th.
Thanks for the challenge Jen.
