Sometimes fate has a lot of fun playing a cruel twist on all of us, right?? Over the past three weeks I have camped, river rafted, hiked, ran around Convention and trekked for miles across the Wyoming wilderness. No problemo …
Today, as I was doing what turned out to be MOUNDS of laundry from my absentee-ism at home the past few weeks, I was bringing in some of what I had hanging to dry outside and I stubbed my toe on a ding-dang footstool on my back porch!!! The result??? Broken Toe-ism!!! OUCHIE!!
Which gave me the idea for today’s challenge … create a “Get Well” or “Thinking of You” card for someone you know who is currently ill/recovering from something OR just for someone who needs a little “pick-me-up”. The REAL part of this challenge??? Make sure to actually give the card you make for this person TO them … you know what I mean – put it in an envelope, address it, stamp it and MAIL it!! OR, if applicable, hand deliver it … preferably with CHOCOLATE!! (Try to mail it ASAP!!)
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

A great idea for a challenge and one that all of us can easily participate in. I have sister in recovery after chemo so I know exactly who will receive my card. Thanks, Wendy!
Location: My very hot stamp room, in Phoenix! It's a dry heat.

I have a sweet friend that has been and will be suffering with difficult health challenges. She was in my thoughts as I made this card. And I will send it to her.
Here's my card for today. Thanks Wendy for a great challenge and I hope you feel better soon.

Sorry about your toe! Crocs may not be attractive but they are great when you have a broken toe--also great at preventing broken toes/feet. I'll try to join in the F4A this evening after work.

Hope your toe feels better...I've done it, hurts like crazy. Hope to play later today. We have a dear friend who will be 90 on Tuesday. She just had an operation on her throat so I have good inspiration.
That is an "OWIE", Wendy! Hope your toe heals quickly. I probably should be sending this card to you, since my family and friends all seem to be doing well right now. Thanks for the timely challenge!

F4A25 For My Uncle
HERE is my card for the challenge. Thanks Wendy for getting my mojo going again...I have needed to make another get well/thinking of you card for my 84 year old uncle who underwent quadruple bypass surgery a few weeks ago. He lives in Wilmington, NC so I don't get to see him often but I do call him from time to time. He is the last of my uncles on my Daddy's side of the family and he has always been very special to me. This card will go in the mail to him today! Thanks for prodding me to get it done, Wendy

Ouchie! Wendy, thanks for the challenge. I will try to do one for this challenge later today. And I just want to say, I try to use all my cards! These challenges are nice, because you have them ready when you need them. This Summer, I have made several wedding, baby, and sympathy cards, and send them out as fast as I make them. I already have in mind who I will send this to!
Thanks for a great challenge Wendy. Here is mine and I will be sending it to my mom who is going through chemo. She loves getting cards in the mail. TFL
What a fun challenge, thanks Wendy! I tried to upload the card last night, but wouldn't let me, hopefully it will work now. Anyway, here's my card & TFL!:
