Sandee, thank you for your kind words and for mentioning my card here!!! And I sincerely appreciate the amazing people who let me know I've been mentioned!! I wouldn't know otherwise.
From a Sue to a Sue (Mrs Noofy) - a huge thanks for mentioning my card Lacy Vellum on your list!! Thank you, once again, Angie for notifying me - do you ladies ever get a break!!!

Thanks Brenda (Tessaduck) for mentioning my card "Oh, deer!" from ClassyCards. It's such an honor to be mentioned with this talented list. A big thanks to Vicki too for letting me know. You girls are amazing on this board!
MANY thanks to Jay_Bee (Janine), Reddyisco (Jo)and Shoegirl (sorry I don't know your real name) for choosing one of my cards. Janine, I can't believe you picked 3 of mine!! Wow, what an honor!
And thank you, thank you to Vicki (vdm) for sending out the happy mail to all of us!
Growing up, I tended to 'space out' a great deal. Mostly because real life was simply NOT as fabulous as what was going on inside my head. Granted, real life could never compete with my being a national hero for performing some valiant act or becoming an international pop star OR being filthy rich and having the power to help those I liked and destroy those I didn't. (Believe me...these scenarios would go on to be of great interest to several counselors of mine..HAH!)
But these elaborate fantasies that resulted in me zoning out of the boredom that was real life, irritated the adults in my life to no end. When I was invariably asked "What is WRONG with you? Don't you LISTEN?" (my father would love jumping in at that point and say "Give her a break. She's obviously suffering from 'cranial rectal inversion'. Fortunately, it made all the adults-accusers included-laugh and thus the 'heat' quickly dissipated.
I was about 27 before I realized what he was REALLY saying. ;)
I guess I could've been irritated with him, but the truth was...well...it was-and still IS-a big truth in my life. I've taken enough Adderall to supply a 3rd world country and STILL can't quite 'get it together'.
Wow. This is like counseling again!!! Wait...no one is talking 'commitment', are they??? Not that it's a problem...I could use a break from the kids. Just wanted to ask.
Which brings me to the lovely ladies at the top of my post.
ANGIE-You were kind enough to choose my feathered girl as a fave, but you ALSO busted your rear-end to notify me and everyone else. Everyone ELSE responded with thanks, while my cranial stayed inverted in my rectal...um..area. Hmmm. Gotta work on that phrasing.
NANCY-You choose so many cards of mine as 'faves'. Nevermind that the others are probably questioning your art taste by this point, you love me and my work...I hope you know the feeling is MUTUAL!!
SUE-TY for choosing my feather card! Not that it could ever rival your Flowers and Rhinestones (which I was on my way to comment on, when I stumbled on my notifications that I'd gotten, then FORgotten!) and I appreciate it so much!!
PEGGY- You are not only a talented lady, you're one of the most straightforward people I know. You don't mince words and I LOVE that! It means when you comment on my cards, or choose mine as a fave like you did for my feather girl, I KNOW you're not going to get lost in flowery language and what you say you MEAN! TY for the honor, because that's exactly what it is.
SUSIE-YOU are the reason I tried a stair step card, tried (and continue, much to other's chagrin, I'm sure to bring humor to everything I do. You're also the reason I refrain from fixing anything having to do with the structural part of my house with my heat gun or dremel. TY for choosing my card and being my cautionary tale in home repair. (ROFL)
LINDA-Like it or not, you are 'kind of a big deal around here.' Whenever you pop in a leave a comment, or choose my feather card as a fave like last week, I am INCREDIBLY humbled. At least, I'm humbled an honored after the first 2 or so seconds it takes to get the black and white cow picture out of my head. (waiting for the collecting gasp to subside from the people who think I just called you a cow...LOL) I grew up on a dairy farm, so you were one of the first people on this site who, though unintentional, as we'd never 'met', made me feel I was 'home'.[/COLOR
and, last but not least
ROBIN-I'm sure you had NO idea what to think of me, especially when I said I'd love to have you as a daughter, especially since we're close to the same age! That's right, 31!! But, as everyone knows, you are so very childlike in that you find wonder and joy in so many things! Your art is fresh and new and your comments bring feelings with the words you leave. You are someone that brings out the best in everyone and everything...SCS and the rest of us are lucky to have you. Oh! And thanks for choosing my feather card as a fave. (hee hee)
I hope y'all forgive my late thanks! I also want everyone involved with the faves to know what a push it gives to see your card mentioned!! I'm a slacker in that department, only in that if I get started mentioning cards, I won't get anything done. Seriously. Stuff like that consumes me and makes me crazy (er). Why? Because there's so many great cards that deserve mentioning. That's why these mentions are so precious!
Love to all of you, along with the rest of the ladies who brighten so many days here!

Robin aka Stamperrobin, I want to thank you for always choosing one of my cards to place among your favourites for the week... It makes me so proud and happy...what an honour to be placed among all these beautiful artistic people who make such lovely cards... Sorry I am so late in posting this thank you, but I have been out of town for a week... I also want to thank Brenda aka Tessaduck for letting me know of this post.
Wow, just saw this Carmen!! So awesome!! I read it to my hubby and he said..."I like her"!! Thanks so much for such a lovely comment/thankyou! I ESPECIALLY love the "we're 31" bit!! You can adopt me any time...I have no parents left so I'm officially an orphan!! I could even be grandma to your kiddos at the same time LOL!! Hahaha!! Sorry, that picture in my mind just cracked me up. You adopt me as child-grandma! Hee!
Thanks again for your thanks...I know it isn't proper etiquette to send a thank you for a thank you but this is special!!

Thank you so much, Brenda (tessaduck) for adding my CAS Thinking of You Leaves and Rejoice! card to your favorites this week (I apologize for my delay in thanking you, my hubby has been back and forth to doctors and I have not had a chance to catch up yet)... Thanks as well to Priscilla (catluvr2- love this name!) for letting me know :-) Hugs to both of you and thanks again for making me feel so special!!
Robin and Susie...my husband and I were addicted to that cable show with Bill Paxton called 'Big Love'. GREAT series...big stars...about a primitive Mormon family in a plural marriage. Near the beginning of the series, my husband said-jokingly-that maybe he should take on a couple more wives. I'm sure he was joking because he has no death wish that I'm aware of.
By the end of the show about 6 years later, I decided it was a fantastic idea!!! 3-4 sister-wives (at least 2 of them half my age so they can take care of the kids and housework) and both of you as the sister-wives I could hang out, craft and drink wine with.
As to my husband's place in all of this, I informed him that in this scenario, I really didn't need HIM at all! Woot woot!
He said I missed the point.
Really? Because my plan sounds like a winner to me!!
