Greetings fellow SCSers! Carlene (Chatterbox-1) here to start this weeks threadmy last for a while, as I will be AWOL with a bit of knee replacement surgery. I will miss being able to get up to my craft room and use a computer for awhile. Gosh, Im already having withdrawals!
I am happy to report that our winter weather is beginning to warm up, and weve have a few sunny days in between the rain. It has been pure blue skies sans any clouds for two days now and almost balmy in the 50s! Heres hoping this continues and Spring is just around the corner!
About this thread: The FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. This is the place to link all the wonderful favorites youve discovered in that gallery last week, Sunday, March 11th through Saturday, March 17th. Everyone is welcome to join in -- check my next post (Post #2) for directions.
Got a Clean and Simple card favorite? Look for the CAS Favorites for the Week thread in the General Stamping Talk - Favorites Forum.
Our dedicated team members who will bring you smiles and happy mail this week-end are: Carla (Covington Crafter); Carlene(Chatterbox-1); Janine (Jay_Bee); Nancy (nwilliams6); Shirley (wannabcre8tive); Susie (susie australia). LATEs (starting Monday afternoon): Angie (ohmypaper!). CONGRATS are in order for Miss Carlashe is one of the new DIRTY GIRLS!
Finally found time to spend in the gallery...so many, many lovilies...so difficult to decide, but here are my FAVs:
You don't have to wait until you have a card in the Favorites threads. The more participation we have, the more fun and interesting this thread will be.
You also DO NOT have to wait for a notice to post a thank you. Please help the Favorites Teams by making sure:
That the LINKS in your Favorites List work correctly.
WE ARE UNABLE TO NOTIFY LINKS THAT DO NOT WORK.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MS Word and other office software have format programming that conflicts with SCS programming. Either copy and paste the code directly into the SCS site orprepare your post in Wordpad, TextEdit or Notepad then copy and paste into SCS.
The card makersSCS NAME is shown, it really helps if their name is in color.
It really, really, helps if you have a BLANK LINE between each entry.
And please DO NOT use the Quote button to the side of the post when you post a thank you!! Replying with the Quote button causes the original message to be repeated. That can confuse the team, and we may notify people twice.
Did you find your way to this thread because someone listed one of YOUR creations as a favorite? In addition to saying thank you, we encourage you to pay that smile you're probably wearing right now forward by sharing a few of the cards/projects YOU listed in your favorites for this week. Need help posting your favorites list or thank you? Click the below links for posting tips.
It has been another busy week. My time did not allow me to be in the gallery as much as I wanted and I know I missed so many cards worthy of being mentioned on this thread.
Here's my favourites for the week. Unfortunately I've not been able to browse the gallery much this week, and know I will have missed a lot of beauties, but here's the happiness I found:
Happy Sunday everyone and thank you Carlene for starting this thread.
