I hope you have been enjoying the holidays and that all of you who celebrate Christmas have had a great one. This is the place to share those fabulous Favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week. Everyone can join in -- check my next post if you need directions. My list comes in sets of twos this week.
What did you add to your Favorites last week? Post your links and make someone's day.
A Heads-up for Next Week
We're going to be doing something a little bit different with the Favorites thread and the CAS Favorites thread next week. Susan (LateBlossom) and I will be naming both of them "The Best of 2010." You'll be asked to link your top picks for cards and projects uploaded to the SCS Gallery during the past 12 months, sort of a year-end retrospective. Since there are so many marvelous uploads to choose from, it isn't going to be easy. Consider this your advance notice to start thinking about your top choices for the year.
If you are new to the FAVORITES threads, please read.
Each week we have newcomers to these threads. EVERYONE is welcome to join in. The more participation we have, the more interesting this thread will be.
--- Want to post a Thank You? Please do not use the Quote button.
Instead of quoting, scroll down and either type your response in the Quick Reply box or click the Go Advanced button. This thread will be easier to read without all the same link lists quoted over and over again. We've had terrific cooperation on this request. Thanks!
Optional: Pay It Forward. When you say "thank you," you're encouraged to also link to at least one of your own Favorites. This idea started with a suggestion from APandi, seconded by ChaosMom.
--- Was your card mentioned in this thread? Here's how to find it.
Let's say that you find out your card has been mentioned in this thread, but by the time you check it, there are dozens of links. Here's how to find yours:
1. At the top of the screen, click the drop-down box for Search this Thread.
2. Type in your screen name and click the Go button. Since most of the links include screen names, yours will probably show up in the search results.
--- Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps.
Make sure all the cards that you want to link are already in your SCS Gallery Favorites.
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button. In the Reply to Thread box, type what you want to say.
2. Open a second browser tab and load your SCS Gallery Favorites to display the thumbnails.
3. Right-click on a thumbnail and select Copy Shortcut (or Copy Link Location).
4. Go to the first tab again. Right-click and select Paste. Hit the Enter key twice to separate each link.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as many times as you need for your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that all your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Notes: For browsers without tabs, you can open separate windows. On a Mac, use Ctrl+click rather than right-click.
When you copy and paste links as explained above, the screen name is automatically part of the link. If you would rather add links a different way, please include the exact screen name so that the person can find it by searching this thread.
Thank you Judi for favoriting my card...what an honor to be mentioned in this thread!
I would like to pay it forward with some pearls I've found in the gallery:
Thank you SO much, Judi, for mentioning my 2 cards. It's like a "Boxing Day" (day after Christmas) gift! I appreciate it VERY much.
Next week will be interesting and enlightening. Being retrospective.......thanks for all that you have personally done to keep this thread going and the work you put into it EVERY Sunday. A BIG "Thank you" and "Well done!" Hugs, Sallie
Thank you Heidi for highlighting my card...I certainly do appreciate it and am glad to share PeaceLoveJoy! And thanks again Judi for the heads-up!
Have a great Sunday! (~I know I will now!)
Thank you Judi, for mentioning my card today. What a great moral boost.
I've been absent from the gallery most of this week, but of what I did see, I especially liked THIS CARD by Clownmom. I love the muted color scheme and the texture!
I loved THIS CARD by Vicky Gould. Those hearts are FABULOUS!
And, THIS CARD, by Emily was a stand out in the CAS area!
Thank you SO much, Judy(StampingQueenJAR) for mentioning my Frosty Night card. You brought a smile to my heart! : ) I truly appreciate it. Hugs, Sallie
Judy...thanks SO much for sharing my creation with this forum, as I am a first-time mention!!! YAY!!!
I have since had a batch of custom orders for it, so I am on the search for all the materials now! haha
I had already chosen this card as a favorite and it just so happens to be a teammate of mine over at The Play Date Cafe AND has been mentioned a time or two already, but I just adore it!
Thank you Stacy (JBgreendawn) for the mention of my angel in this list of favourites. It makes me so very happy and just tops off an already great Christmas. Thank you everyone...man I love this site!
Thanks, Faith, for mentioning my card. I'm not feeling well today (a terrible cold, which I believe I caught from my grandson), so this brightened my day.
Judy!! Thank you so much for mentioning my Buttons and Lace card among your favs for this past week - what an honor coming from such a gifted card maker, I'm delighted!
And Judi M, thank you for letting me know, so that I could enjoy it!
Jo(Reddyisco), thanks so much for mentioning my Frosty Night card. I always appreciate you kind comments and this mention gives me the "warm fuzzies"! Thank you! Hugs, Sallie

Judi~ love your fav of the year idea, except how to choose! I will certainly be going thru my favs- all 1,200 of them (really!) Not much time for gallery gazing this week, but there are a few. The first two are from a Newbie to SCS, and when you see Debbie's cards, you will know she is not new to stamping.

Thanks so much for mentioning my watercolour card "Lizanardo" in your favourites. It is exactly 1 year to the day when I uploaded my first card to SCS and I can't imagine a better anniversary present than this honour.
Blessings,
Elizabeth
Thank you Pat for mentioning my PeaceLoveJoy card. That card has evoked such a wonderful response! I wish I could bottle that, lol! And I concur with you Pat on Debbie's cards, what a super crafter she is! I thoroughly enjoy visiting her blog!
Have a Happy New Year everyone!
