For January we had 59% of those who joined our BVC Challenge for 2011 participate by sharing their creations with us. Thank you to each and every one of you. It is not only a blessing for the one who makes and shares their creation and their Scripture, but also for those of us who look at it. I always feel so refreshed and uplifted after looking at everyone's BVC creations.
For those of you who didn't get a chance to make/post your January BVCs, this thread is meant to be a blessing, not a burden, so:
-It is never too late to post for a prior month.
-If it was an overwhelming month for you, and you just don't have time to make one for January, then skip it and work on February :-)
Here is my February submission. I just recently came across this thread and challenge, so this is my first submission. On this project I went with something a little more fun then I usually do with the colors. I decided it would be neat to design a monthly Bible Verse desk calendar. I also decided that I would like to use it for more than a year, so on this month's I used a mini library clip to attach the calendar, making it easy to change next year. The verse and calendar are computer generated and the hearts are stamped and cut out. TFL!
I know I'm early but I will be going to Phoenix tomorrow for 2 weeks for a class and to get checked out at Mayo Clinic. I really wanted to get March's card done before I left. And this verse is very personal right now, I've been having health problems with an unknown cause, which has been causing me weakness and feeling like I'm going to pass out. I'm not looking forward to more doctors and would rather just wake up tomorrow all healed and back to my healthy self

Ever since stamping this card, the scripture verse has really stayed with me. If I take a moment, I can just imagine myself up in the mountains among the majestic trees, alongside a lake gazing up at the beautiful sky, just wanting to be still and meditate on this verse. TFL

I learned this week that when I memorize, I forget in a couple of days soooooooooo.....
a very wise ol bird told me to memorize by saying the verse location first, then the verse, then the verse locations again. Each week or time you chose a new verse, say your previous verse or verses before you say your new one. Won't be long time you have a string of verses that you are saying daily and you'll NEVER forget where they are cuz its imprinted so well. Good luck to us all. Mark 11:24 by BittyBadger - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Wise counsel BittyBadger! It's an excellent idea to repeat all the versers you've already learned before reciting the new one. Also, good practice to learn the reference for the verses, so you can find them when you need them or share them. Thanks for sharing! Your card is beautiful !!
I have done the Divine Design challenge in the past. I didn't even realize that it was still going since I had such a crazy year last year and wasn't able to stamp much. I hope to try this for March and keep going! I love my 6x6 album of Bible verses I started a few years ago!
Subscribing!

Angel ~ We look forward to seeing your creations. Welcome back! ~ Diane
I saw a card in the gallery that I thought you'd enjoy seeing. The artist, Laura said it would be okay to share it with you. It's inspiring to see how others use scripture in their stamping. I liked her simplicity and use of DP. with this card. Hope you enjoy seeing it.
Well, I missed submitting a project for February, but I did get one done for March. There's no size requirements are there? Mine is a bit large - 4 feet by 6 feet LOL!
I do the bulletin boards for church - it's really like designing an oversized card or scrapbook page and everyone gets to learn the Bible verse with me. I used 2 Corinthians 5:17 this month. I will post it as soon as I get a photo.
Thank goodness for my Cricut I'd hate to cut all those letters by hand. LOL1
Oh dear, I posted 3 cards to the challenge and they are gone, not in my gallery or in the BVC gallery. I am so sad. It takes FOREVER to upload and resize here. I have them on my blog and I am going to upload them one more time and if it doesn't go through then I guess I will be out for awhile. So sad!

Yes, we'd love to see it. Take a picture and share it with us.
I looked in your gallery and there's 3 cards posted on March 14th. Are these the cards you were trying to post? They are lovely. Left you some comments. If you have more, I hope you'll share them with us. ~ Diane

Sorry to be so long getting this photo on here. We are visiting my grandkids this week and there's not time for much of anything with the 6 of them around! LOL! But I am having a wonderful time with them.
Hi Everyone, I just uploaded my March card and realized I never uploaded the one I made for Feb. Unfortunately, I sent that one off to a friend already. I'll have to go back and see if I can recreate it or just make another one. For March i used Jeremiah 33:3. It's a good reminder for me of God's sufficiency. Trust everyone is doing well! Oh, here's the link to my card!!
I finally finished my March project! I created an album cover for my monthly 2011 digi scrapbook pages. It took me forever to decide what I wanted for the layout and colors, so I am so very happy that it is done and I can move onto other things. It is Spring Break for me and the kiddos this week, so that means spring cleaning and tackling those closets.
I was looking for the word "smile" in the Bible and discovered that it is only used three times in the book of Job (which would definitely not be the book I would think it would be found) anyway none of which was in the context that I was looking for, so I came across Prov. 15:13 and thought it was pretty fitting.
I would like to participate in this challenge, thank you for offering soomething uplifting, especially in such a time as this...
Welcome! We look forward to seeing your artwork. It is uplifting to view the cards & projects and see the ways other stampers have included the Word of God in their creations. Most of all, it is a blessing to read the verses that others have chosen. Have a great day and happy stamping! ~ Diane
Lot's of Beautiful Scriptures & Cards this year Ladies! I'm behind on posting since I've been busy getting together "Father's Love Letter" for Valentine's and now Easter!
Here's my card for March, combined with some other challenges, I sure enjoyed making a card in sunny yellow and using Karen's CAS sketch for this - I really wanted to make a card with the whole of Psalm 136 on it but since I couldn't, I settled for the first verse! This Psalm has been meaningful to me recently as I find it very moving to see the whole history of the Hebrews listed out with the words "His love endures forever" in between each event. If Bible scholars are correct in saying that repetition is signifigant in interpreting the Bible, then this is huge! This phrase is there 26 times!!! My Card
I made this for a friend who is moving back to the states after serving and working overseas for many years. I know this will be an adjustment for her. Since I didn't post my card for Feb., I've uploaded this as my Feb. card. :-)
