I'm so glad you guys are offering this challenge again this year! I played along a couple of times last year, but kept forgetting to create something for it each month. I hope to do better this year, since I just got a brand new stash of Verve scripture stamps. I love those things! Here's my January card:
I am in as well. I've just got a PM from Jami (sgtStamper) and I am determinded to do this. I have been saved for 15 years now and I have learned a lot, but who can ever get enough of God's word? I sure can't and I am looking forward to see what all of your creative ladies come up with.
I would love to join but I am more interested in making those like the last year ones instead of cards for a personal inspiration uplifting moments. I have a problem. I don't know any "good" quotes from the Bible and I don't own any Bible quotes stamps. I am more interested in printing them out on paper (vellum) and adhere to the paper. Do you have a website or a list of many quotes related to a theme ie: love, etc.
I'd appreicate a link or copy of the file for one. I apologize in advance if one was already posted and I inadvertedly overlooked it.
My friend and I want to do this for each other - we plan to do a 'monthly' challenge where we will each do two so we can keep one for ourselves and one to give the other person every month. She would also appreicate a copy of the list as well.
Thanks for continuing the challenge. I made a couple last year and hope to be more consistent this year. To help with that, I kept it fast and simple. I printed my verse from my computer (font color -choc chip) and used ski slope dsp choosing colors to coordinate with the paper. The colors in the pic did not turn out well. That really is Real Red.
The verse is one that I pray not only for myself, but for family and friends. I love the New Living Translation. So...I pray that God give you a complete understanding of what he wants to do in your life!
Blessings!

you can google quotes of the bible, but if you really want to get into it suggest that you get a bible. You can find pretty good bibles for like $ 5 or less;) . Most bibles do have a concordance in the back and you just have to look up a reference word and it will take you to scriptures that have that reference word in it. Another idea would be go to some of the websites that sell scripture stamps and just type it on your computer and print it out. There are so many ways on getting the scripture. Stay encouraged and if you look in the first post it says you can make whatever you want. It is all about you growing spiritually.

If you don't have a Bible, BlueLetterBible.org is an excellent online Bible verse source as well as Biblegateway.com. Prayingscriptures.com is a source where you can find a scripture on a particular subject such as encouragement. If you have a computer and Google you can put in Bible Verse along with whatever keywords you are looking for in a Bible verse, i.e. "joy" which brought up this site: http://www.scripturemenu.com/BibleVe...tml?topicid=19
You can absolutely print your own scriptures using your home PC. You'll find many people who will do that with this challenge. Even though there are many fabulous Christian quotes, the BVC09 challenge is specifically for Bible verses. I am finding such inspiration in seeing the verses everyone has chosen for this challenge.
God Bless!
Me again:rolleyes: .
I made this set the other day and totally forgot to upload it. So, thanks to my husband it is now uploaded. As I mention in the description of the gift set I made this for a friend who is going through a really tuff time.

I was just looking at all the cards in the gallery for this challenge and LOVE them! Each card is beautiful and it's fun to see all the different verses. Just shows what a talented group of stampers are here!

I really hope I am doing this correctly. I still have trouble manuvering Splitcoast. I had to wait until I got my book started before I could post. I will try to get my pictures loaded to splitcoast but.....if you would like to see what I have done, you can check it out here: http://stampnscrapwithpaula.blogspot...r-journal.html
I would like to thank each one of you for sharing of yourself in participating. I am hoping to be able to keep up. I sure hope I am doing this right.
Can I still join this challenge?? I'm so into Bible verses and I've committed myself to read the entire Bible for one year. By the grace of God, I'm up-to-date with my readings! ;) This challenge is one way of memorizing the scriptures and that would be very good for all of us.
Just subscribed. I've never seen this thread before and I definately wasn't looking for it. It never ceases to amaze me how God directs me down His path if I just wait.
Thanks for putting this together,
Martha S.
I made this in November after being inspired by finding the 2008 challenge (but way too late to do the year). I hope you don't mind me sharing but it is an idea someone might want to do! You could make a scripture a week to put in this and not do it all at once. It is on my blog and this is a direct link. Each one is a scripture verse.
I am so glad I went back to read all the responses in this thread. This is the idea I was thinking of, but not quite sure how to do it. We have a small group of women in our womens ministry group and this will be a great gift.
Now just to get enough altoid tins!!!! Thanks so much for sharing....

Ok....I made a resolution NOT to do any card swaps this year, But I want to so something that keeps me accountable for my stamping. This is peprfect. I am going to sign up for this challange. Using inspiration from Taylor from Tayloredexpressions.com I am going to use the stand up frames and make 3 of each verse so I can give 2 away for Christmas gifts! (I already know who the recipients will be). I will work on the first month this week.
I am looking forward to participating in the Divine Design Bilble Challenge 2009. I will be late this month in submitting but will try to be on time in the following months. I am looking forward to seeing all of the designs for this challenge.
Here is my January submissions for the BVC09! I'm excited to be apart of it this year. I loved the many creations I saw last year, but I wasn't able to participate. This verse came to me after all of the craziness that surrounds the holidays. Now that it's the new year, we need to allow Him to give us rest!
i worked on one last night. i loved how it turned out.
the scripture is in spanish ;)
its on my blog, but i just need to upload to my gallery. will do right now ;)
Here is my index card for my scripture box. 1Peter1:8 I made a few cards last year, but wasn't diligent about making monthly cards. I vow to do better this year!! This verse was written on the gift tag of my Christmas gift from my dear friend Chrys. I adore it!! It is also my memory verse for Beth Moore's memory challenge.Trying to multitask!!!

I hope I get to play each month! This is one of those verses that I think if I could believe it EVERY second of EVERY day, I would know God very differently. One day... Philippians 4:13
I tried posting a reply with the link to my card, but the site is telling me that I can't include the link to "other sites" - isn't my gallery part of this site???

Is your picture in your gallery yet? If you are not a Fan club member it has to be approved first. Once it is approved you can just copy it from your gallery to here.

Ps.: I've just checked your gallery here on SCS and there are no pics in there
