Here is my May Bible Verse on a 6X6 page. The verse is a little difficult to read, but it says, "Consider the lillies, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin' and yet, I say unto you that Solomon, in all his glory, was not arrayed like one of these." Good one for me to remember when I start worrying about things! Thanks for looking!

Reason: Wanted to add the rest of the Bible Challenge cards I made tonight.
LORI CRAIG YOU ARE A PROVERBS 31 WOMAN....thank you for blessing my heart tonight and bringing tears to my eyes...this thread has really touched me....and I like the idea of planning a monthly project....I will add it to my June calendar!!!
I just found this thread while scrolling down the main challenges page. What a wonderful idea!
I have been participating in the Monthly Scripture Swap (sort of on again and off again) during the past 8 months. Now I think that I will join you gals (maybe guys too?) and make a few 6x6 pages for myself.
Someone in the swap thread linked us to Mr. Bingaman who creates 6x6 "recipe stands." I ordered from him and have been using mine for the scriptures rather than for recipes. Here is a photo of one. His link is there if you would like to order too. (And no -- I don't get a commission.)
By the way.... If you click on the keyword MSS under the photo you will see more Scripture Swap pages.
I finally took photos and uploaded a project from two months ago. Shirley Pando at MyCreativeClassroom.com hosted a class on lunch-bag albums. I am using mine to hold favorite scriptures. Just thought some of you gals might like to do this too.
Here is a link for the cover of the book. 3:16 Scrapbook
Once there you can check out all the varieties of pages Ms. Pando created for the class.... pockets and packets and tags and matchbooks.
I had to take a break from my 6 x6 pages (so that I could survive the end of school) but last week I created these for my Secret Sis at church. We had our reveal on Sunday so that's when she got them. She sent me an email thanking me for them and that she loved them (which is what I always hope). She has had a rough g of it medically and I wanted to give her something that was meaningful.
The rest are in my gallery but I will come back and add them later. I just realized what time it is and I am supposed to be going to a friend's house for dinner
So glad to see that this thread hasn't died! I just found it a few days ago but no one has posted lately. I'd like to join in, too, but there's no way I could go back to the beginning (January?). Can we just start now? I've been thinking for some time that I'd like to do this, but this thread is the 'oomph' I need to get me started.

I am by no means the "boss", but I do believe it is quite permissible to join in now. I would love to see your creations.
Maybe it seems that no one is posting because the aim is that we upload on the 8th of each month.
And you may be surprised to see that slowly but surely you can "catch up", but it is not a requirement, as I understand it.

You're more than welcome to jump in any time!
If you decide you want to catch up, you might just plan to do two each month - the current month plus one of the ones you missed. It's up to you.
Reminder to all - the 8th is coming up in less than a week!!!
Rubber Stamp Avenue is having a sale on their sheets of rubber. They have a lot of Christian stamps.
The sheets of rubber are 6"x9" and some are 7"x9". This month - June - the price per sheet is $12 instead of $17.
Here are a couple of cards using Christian stamps that might interest you....
Identical triplets!!!! Wow! Is there a picture somewhere in you blog? OH... I found them. How sweet! Beautiful girls like their mommy. I was thinking more along the lines of babies and wondering how on earth you did any stamping or scrapping.
I like the Scripture Challenge that you have too. A theme every week is a great idea. I'm going back to your blog to see if there is a way to bring up all the scripture challenges on one page. I might try to do a bunch and catch up to you.

Agh, you're too sweet. Thank you! And let me know if you didn't find them all. They are under the label "scripture challenge."

Yes! I found them all and made a list of the words. Now to decide on a format. It took me a while to realize that yours are ATC size. I was thinking of doing a 6x6 album, but who knows....? I have a 50% coupon today and I'm going to Michaels. Anything could happen.
By the way, go back to post #331 and click on the word photo. You will see why I was thinking 6x6.

Agh, I see! I have some ladies doing ATC cards, some doing 6x6 pages, some doing a variety of creative things. I have thought about doing an album too because my ATC holder is getting very full!
And Lori, so sorry for the highjack!!! Please forgive me!

Since we are discouraged from uploading on Sunday and the 8th is Sunday, when should we upload our BVC08 June cards?
If you are a Fan Club Member you can upload today, otherwise tomorrow would be great! Thanks for mentioning that.
Lori was out of town this weekend and some of us were just *behind* so she and I along with Angel, Nancy and Taylor will have ours up on our blogs tomorrow morning and in the gallery sometime tomorrow.
Here is a makeup card I did and posted on my blog....absentmindedly, I neglected to post it here. It is a 6x6 trifold card using Psalm 23 and the angel is stamped on acetate and colored with copics and paints.
I just love this challenge! THanks Lori for coming up with it! My mom passed away a year ago next week. I've been thinking of heaven a lot. Here's my page...
This is a time of the month that I so look forward to with all the wonderful postings to the challenge. Here is my card for June! Thanks for looking...
Does anyone know approximately how many of of us are playing along? I think a general number would be quite inspirational - almost like a virtual retreat don't you think?
My verse this month was chosen to bring me back to reality after an oh-so-rat race month. It's so easy to lose my priorities and just waste my time... Case in point, Jami reminded me so gently, that I never even loaded my project last month. We had been on vacation over the 8th, and I had 'planned' to do it when I returned home.
When I came to get the link today for this thread, I was taken aback by the number of views this thread has had and by the sheer numbers of sisters sharing in this challenge. You are such an incredibly awesome group of women, and I know that God is using each of you in your own communities and your own little corners of the web to bring glory to His name. I'm so humbled this morning...blown away.... YOU (read: personal, I'm speaking directly to each of you) are such a blessing!
So without further blah, blah...here are links for my May and June projects:
I am so mad at myself. I worked hard and got these done on time (for once!), loaded them to the gallery on Saturday and forgot to post the link here...duh...ever have one (um, many) of thoses days? Good thing I've got so many great verses on this thread to re-read and put me back on track!
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways,
and my thoughts higher than your thoughts
I've been thinking about this verse for the last couple of weeks. I didn't know it was in Isaiah until I looked it up today but it's one of the verses that brings me comfort. It brought me much comfort it the last weeks. On May 28 I had a miscarriage. I found out I was pregnant on May 17th and a week and a half later my pregnancy ended. I was heartbroken. Actually Scot and I were both very hurt by this. Jesus has brought us both much comfort in His word! His ways are much higher than ours. We just look at the here and now, but God sees the big picture! If we had our way I would still be pregnant with a healthy baby in my tummy, but God has other plans for our lives. Do I hurt? Yes. Do I cry? Of course. But I have a "peace that passes all understanding". I really don't know what I would do without Jesus in my life. The next time your hurting...not matter what the situation is...think of this verse and know that God's ways are higher than ours. He knows us better than anyone and he knows what we need and any pain and suffering we experience can only draw us closer to HIM!
I've been so behind on this thread. I'm hoping to get caught up and leave lots of comments in the gallery. Thanks again Lori!!
