Happy New Year!! We are so excited and thrilled that you found our Bible Art Journaling Challenge forum for 2021!
If you are new to Bible Art Journaling (BAJ), please remember that there is no right or wrong way to journal in your Bible. Not everyone feels comfortable journaling in their Bible and some prefer to use an art journal, notebook, scrapbook or other book.
Also, please remember, BAJ is not about how great your artwork looks but it is a creative worship time between you and the Lord.
So let's grab our art supplies (gelatos, colored pencils, acrylic paints, markers, plain pencils, watercolors, inks, crayons- whatever your heart desires) and worship the Lord with our creativity!!
If you are unable to actually journal at this time, we would love for you to join in and "chat" so we can encourage each other, share ideas as well as see your art in the gallery when you are able to create.
When you upload to the gallery, remember: We have our own gallery to load our journal pages- Once you enter the "Upload A Card" click on the arrows next to the windows under "Select Galleries"- in the first window select "Anything BUT a Card", in the second window choose "Books, Handmade Albums and Journals" , in the third window choose "Art Journal Pages" and then a 4th window should appear and choose "Bible Art Journal Pages" .
Please use these keywords when you post to the gallery- BAJ21, BAJ22, Bible Art Journaling and if you have time, link your gallery upload in this forum so we can be inspired by your work and encourage you with some "love" ...
While we may occasionally have a monthly theme or prompt word, please feel free to share any Bible Art Journaling that you are working on- this encourages us all!
I am looking forward to spending more time in God's Word studying and adding Bible Art Journaling this year- we hope you can join us!!
Hugs and may the Lord continue to bless you in 2021 and beyond!
Hi Ladies! I feel like I am so far behind on commenting and posting my cards! I have still not been able to dedicate time for Bible Art Journaling but am using Scripture on the front of 99% of my cards.
We are still working on our "weekend" home (painting, spackling, removing flooring, etc.) and my shoulders have been aching a bit (tough to type when I am finished, lol!), We are making headway though, and hopefully, will be done the major interior remodeling within the next year. In the meantime, I hand-delivered this card using Stamp Simply stamps, dies and paper (love the fonts on their stamps)! The verse is very appropriate, it was for a birthday card to the lady who has faithfully led our Monday eve Bible Study for over 25 years :-)
I know that there is another active thread with those who share cards, journaling, etc. and I will try to link to that thread when I find it again :-) In the meantime, praying that all is well with those of you who have shared your faith through cards and journaling! Hugs and God Bless!
I love that drawing can be used to teach children about religion. And I like that now this can be done with the help of postcards, comics, picture books, and even through a successful drawing that the author shared on the Internet.
Any interest in this for 2022? I'm just trying to get started with some bible journaling and need some inspiration!
I am interested in learning about Bible Journaling. I think I could start in 2023. Still trying to wrap my brain around how I would do this. I rarely write in my Bible, but am seeing a lot of coloring Bibles and journal supplies.
