I seem to always be behind in the new products that come out lol. But today I was on the Pink Cat Studio website ordering some adorable Lilly and Billy stamps for Valentines before they go outta stock and they had a new link called Digi Stamps. I dont really understand what these are, are they just images you download and print out to color? Why is this better than regular stamps? Thank you for all the help you can give. I need to keep up with stuff better lol. Have a blessed holiday season.
Hi Michelle,
yes, digistamps are for printing out on the computer and then color and use like a regular stamp.
I can't say they are better or worse than regular stamps, but what I like about them is that I can re size them, that they don't take away room in my house that I don't have and that they are a lot less expensive than a rubber stamp. Plus the instant gratification.
What I don't like about them is having to go upstairs first to print it out (our printer is upstairs but all my paper crafting stuff is downstairs.
Someone needs to invent a printer just for digistamps, small and where I just need to stick in my usb stick and choose an image and print without a computer. Now that I said this I am wondering if something like this doesn't already exist??
Everything that Ellibelle said and plus, you can merge multiple images together to create scenes. They really are great to use I have way more digi stamps than I do "regular" stamps (which is A LOT) and these days I tend to use digi stamps more than my regular stamps.

They do have portable printers, or if you only print out smaller images, you could get one of those small photo printers (4x6 prints) for your area. They're no bigger than a cuttlebug...

I actually went looking after my post. Now I have found another thing to add to my wishlist.
I just LOVE digital stamps.
Im lucky, I have my computer right on my craft table and my printer close by.
There are more sites that sell digital stamps than ever before.
One of my favorites are Mo's Digital Pencil Too. Her images are just the amazing. I have so many favorites now.
The best thing is, if I want one now, I can have it in about 5mins.
Thank you so much to everyone that helped me. These are definitely a lot cheaper than buying a stamp and being able to just have them on a usb drive rather than bins in my craftroom seems like a much better idea. I had no clue you could put images together and make them bigger or smaller, how fun! Can anyone send me a link of a DiGi stamp they have used in a project on here? Thanks so much again, this site is so amazing with such wonderful people that help eachother.

In my very small gallery, the first 2 cards are digi's and the first 2 in the second row are also digi stamps

If you want to take a peek at my gallery, probably about 90% of the projects I do lately have been with digital stamps. I'm on two design teams for digital stamp companies, so I use them alot.
I think I am on the road to building a collection of Digi Stamps lol. Thank you to you awesome ladies that have helped me enter the world of Digi Stamps. Have a blessed holiday season.
