HelloColorChallengeFans! It's a new year and a new color challenge. Our first of 2017!
Speaking of new, we have a new Hostess on the team for the next 6 months. Roberta aka Stampin'Nana is joining us. She is a talented stamper and will certainly amaze you with her card making skills.
We also have 2 new guest designers for January. Holding the honor of being the first guy to guest design with us is Brent aka brentscards. He was the fave from CC582.
And, from across the pond we have the fabulous Sandi aka sistersandie. Sandie was our fave from CC586.
...And the fave from our last challenge. Maura was our hostess and she chose this white poinsettiabeauty from niki1.
Maura said:"I love the fabulous details in this lovely card - the different types of "greenery", the layered flowers, the embossing, and her use of the challenge colors is gorgeous"!
Congrats Niki! The code to add the badge to your blog is below. Your card will also be featured on our color challenge Pinterest board. See that here.
Now onto this week's challenge. Are your ready for "wearing denim eating melons & pears"?
dapper denim
melon mambo
pear pizzazz
Dessert: something new (new years card, new stamp or die, new technique, etc. -you get the idea)
Please keep in mind, that while we list SU colors for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. we want everyone to be able to join in with us.
Please put CC616 in your keywords section. If you have more than one challenge, use a comma to separate so we can find your card!

Went with this week's exciting colors for my ornate tie, adding accents such as my doors with washi tape and pearl doorknobs, and texture with my "roof shingles" background, peeking out behind the side of the card. Made a funky sun, layered over my textured sky. Here's Happy Neighborhood
