It's a new month, new Guests Designers and a new guest hostess. Anne Harmon(jdmommy) and Marie St. John(momof5sons) are the new Guest Designers for February. They were selected from a contest that was held back in November 2013. I am thrilled to be working with the CC Team for the next several months as a guest hostess.

I chose the following colors since I wanted a variance in values. Some might find the combination challenging, but I hope most of you will find it fun and interesting.
Something New : If your haven't noticed it already, Lydia has kindly set up a special pin board for the Color Challenge within the SCS Pinterest Board . It features the colors of the week, the Team and Guest Designers cards plus the card that was chosen as the "Favorite" of that particular challenge. It is a terrific way to review past Color Challenges. HERE is the link. Take a look!
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!

I hope my background qualifies as "interesting"! Time crunch, trying to get a few things done before running off to see eldest offspring at college.
Primrose Petals is always tough for me...not sure why. I used my marker on Pumpkin Pie paper, and I was happy with the result (a little dark helps me, I guess).
I just got this Wiley Coyote stamp from RS- and thought the flowered and striped dps were the perfect "interesting" background! We all have days like this! Here's Tough Day

Here is card #2. It is the same as #1, I just left the stickles off this one. I had fun with this challenge, It's so easy to make , I did two. Thanks for the fun challenge, and thanks for looking.

Sallie- great challenge, thanks! I had fun making my collage- dc grey heart is from my stamping buddies- and added a gecko image for fun. Thought this embossed sentiment, mounted on a tag with a tie- was just right for February. Here's Valentine's Day Flowers

I DID IT! I must have tried a hundred things for these colors, but not until I searched what to do for the WT challenge did I find a solution to this one!

Hi everyone, here's my submission had great fun doing it but ended up sending it to my gallery before I had done the write up and had to edit it which hasn't come across yet. :(
