CC324 - BREEZY SUEDE PLUMS - 5/24/11

Okay, so this is a saga you will want to read about. Read one, read all. This will be more interesting then the cards are!!

You all know that I am tech-challenged. Lydia knows, I will go down as the most techy challenged person to ever be on the Dirty Dozen. So I asked my "good friend" Vicki Dutcher to help me out, and at first I thought she really didn't mind. But as you all know, she gave me a wrong phone number the first time around. It took several years off my life and gave me at least 50 new gray hairs....when the night of my download, I tried to call her up and got a fax tone screaming in my ear everytime......so I ended up calling another friend, who alas could not remember how she did it for the life of her either,,,,my good friend, Julia, so then I called my good friend Peggy, and THANK GOD she helped me thru it.

So now it's been quite a while since I did it since we are on a different summer schedule so I REALLY forgot how. I texted Vicki this morning and said gee my friend, I am sorry to say I need your phone number one more time and this time I promise I will put it in my phone and keep it forever, can you please send it to me one more time and proof read it etc etc etc so you make sure you give me the RIGHT NUMBER this time???? So I get just a phone number back and it gave me that sense of peace like all will be well,,,,,Vicki really does not mind helping me out with this. After all, she even signed up to be the sample stamper each time I am the challenge hostess and so she must really love me and not mind helping me, right????

So to make a long story longer, I forgot how to even start the thread today, so tried to call Vicki this afternoon instead of waiting till the time I was ready to move the thread, (so there would be a thread to MOVE) and guess what? I get a recording and "DOUG" tells me to leave a msg at the sound of the beep!!!! I am not kidding!!! Okay, so I thought to myself, if I didn't KNOW, that Vicki loves me,,,,,(she loves me, right?) I would right about now be thinking she is trying to ditch me, and hey, was that REALLY an accident the first time she gave me the wrong number?????? Well as it turned out, I found her number in my huge pile of private msgs that I never, thankfully remember to delete, and I called her and "DOUG" is her husband. She gave me HIS number instead of her own. You be the judge. Do you all think Vicki is trying to slip out the back Jack? Make a new plan Stan? She's not trying to be coy Roy, just listen to me....do you all think Vicki really loves me?????? Geez, all I can say is She loves me, She loves me not, She loves me, She loves me not.....what do you think??????

I have an Eddie Bauer blouse with those colors and it's one of my favorites, so I decided to use those colors one day while I was admiring my own blouse in church, while I should have probably been listening to the sermon.......and these colors were a challenge to ME too!!!! I like the final result, but hey, you'll all have to excuse my soft suede leaves.......Bwahahhahahaha.......I do like the colors after all!! Here is our design team ready to knock your socks off!!

Well have FUN with these colors! And remember, soft suede leaves are better then no flowers!!!! And also please take note that all this fancy stuff with colors and larger fonts -I DID IT ALL BY MYSELF!!!!!! (SORRY, a little proud out LOUD there!!) The THINGS some people take for granted!!

No time to stamp today but I had to post -- your story cracked me up! It's good to know I am not the only techno-dummy on this board. I was a hostess for VSBN a few weeks ago and I bombarded the leaders with questions about posting my challenge. Great color combo, BTW. Love how it can be bright or more subtle.
