HelloColorChallengeFans! It's Tuesday and time for another color challenge.#865 on the charts for us. Before I introduce the new colors, let's start with Chris' fave from last week. She chosethis beauty
Chris said:"Jean actually did two lovely cards that both use sprays which give a beautiful representation of weathered colors. In Tlingit ant Haida she explores the idea behind the chosen colors. I love the way she composed her card using the rings of a tree, softened colors and doodling in a stencil to share the story. Truly delightful work, Jean"!
Congrats Jean! The code to add the badge to your blog is attached below, and your card also will be pinned on our Pinterest Challenge board. Check it outhere.
Now onto this week's challenge. I have chosen 2 of Stampin'-Up's in-colors and one from the bright palette.
Are you ready to Sip Cider in a Pink Cabana? cinnamon cider polished pink coastal cabana
You are always welcome to use the neutral shades from Stampin'-Up in addition to the challenge colors. Here are the neutral shades
Dessert Option: anything goes- just tell us what you chose for dessert
Please keep in mind that while we list SU color names for the challenges, these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to play along.
To say that I'm thrilled to be chosen favorite would be a vast understatement...thank you, Chris, for recognizing how much care I put into my work. I love to research (shoulda been a reference librarian). It helps that I have a brother who feels the same, we often look things up together. Not all my work is suitable for sending as a greeting card, this piece is probably in that category. And it was especially thrilling for two reasons: yesterday was Indigenous Peoples Day and tonight my daughter and I have a very difficult funeral to attend, a friend of Liz's from Kindergarten. I know we'll get through it, the family has the tough part, but this honor will help me smile until later today.
