My maternal grandmother had breast cancer late in life, although she was a survivor and passed away from natural causes. Check out the RAK thread for opportunities to send cards to Breast Cancer survivors!
I decided to do this again, since my card last night was a combo from yesterday's challenge (TLC114 & CC112), and I did "cheat" a little with the colors. This bugger is about as pink as it gets!
Thanks Emily for the wonderful challenge. Even though it was a little on the easy side. Which is awesome for my busy week. Thanks
My card can be found here: CC112 by tropicalichick at Splitcoaststampers
Finally got one done. I have had total mental block all day. Had to make a card for a friend that needed one for her friend who is sick. Thanks for looking at my pathetic work today. Rose is A Rose by mzdjoy at Splitcoaststampers
I did some things on this card that if I had taken my time would have been better. I am currently fighting breast cancer and have been doing a "journey" journal in the min Spring 5 x 5 art journal. This card may not find send away home, but it felt right doing it.
Pink Ribbon : CC112 by marciad at Splitcoaststampers Question for you experts: I don't like the fact that the glue dot shows. Anything to use to adhere sheer ribbon? You can pm me if you wish. Thanks
Wow! I got a little emotional making this one!
Sorry about the blurrrrrrrrr, my camera battery is about to die & my Stickles are still wet, so I don't want to use my scanner.
Okay, so I've spent most of my SCS time today fighting with the gallery to get my cards uploaded. I had to try four times on one (hope it really is only in there once!) so I will be back tomorrow to finish looking at these beautiful cards!
I like pink--in doses, so I just couldn't handle just pink and neutral. I had to throw in some other color. I know I failed the challenge, but I did have fun making these!
My CC112...pinks. I used Rose Red, Pretty in Pink and a touch of Sage. Thanks for the push Emily, since pink is not my color of choice......sorry, I know it is your favorite, but then you are a red head :p . Enjoy and TFL...combined with FS12 ... FS12 Doodle This by nancy littrell at Splitcoaststampers
Pink is not my favorite, so I was challenged FS! Thanks for taking a look at my "Wild Pink About You." Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
