Emily, I love the colors you chose this week. I have only had time for one so far, but I may get to the other tonight. I incorporated today's sketch challenge into this one too.

My neice is receiving her First Communion the end of April and I thought these colors would be perfect for her card. I combined these colors with this week's sketch challenge to come up with Shannon's First Communion Card. Thanks so much for the challenge, Emily, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Here's mine!
I'm doin the happy dance cuz I didn't think I was going to get to play, then I looked and saw that Em had chosen the same colors I did for stamp club!!! WHOOHOO!!!!
FYI, the buckle card is actually straight, I didn't realize it looked so funky til I uploaded the picture ;)
I'm finally back in the challenge mode--it's been a busy month or two (youngest DD in hospital, Bible study in my home, etc.). It's good to be back! Here's my submission (and one of my favs, too, Emily):
Great color choices, Emily! My step-daughter's prom dress is black with cool caribbean flowers and pleat in the front (kind of hard to explain without a visual). It is beautiful! If I ever figure out my scanner and uploading, I will start posting cards.
I love these colors together and actually had some extra time to make cards. I needed to make thank you cards anyway! I made one card, wasn't happy about it so added the sentiment on the ovals. Then later I thought of using a different stamp set for the sentiment! I've uploaded both cards.
I was making a dual challenge for cc110 and sc120. I added a nuetral (kraft). Thought I read somewhere that extra neutrals were fairplay....am I right on this?

I love both of these color combinations, but the second one fit better with my chosen stamps. I had a terrible time trying to get the colors to look right on my computer; guess my digital camera isn't quite as fond of the color combo as I am !
Finally got to this challenge! Wanted to try something new with the CB and really liked the results! Tell me what you think! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
