Challenge Title: Stamp with an ink Pad
Hostess: Janeen (janeenk)
Keyword: CAS298
Date: Week of 11-9-14
CAS or Clean and Simple Weekly Challenge
Sometimes as the Holidays approach we just need SIMPLE to get things done. I find using direct to paper with my ink pads gives a great little back ground to stamp on. You can use a pastel colored ink pad right in the center of your card stock and get a nice rounded rectangle to stamp in. This looks especially nice if you want to place a sentiment stamp in it. Or, you can use several pads and create a scene. Swiping works well too. Just have at it and let me know if you enjoy this little change of pace.
We enjoy having our Guest Designer - Keri (stampinupconsultan) with us this week and her card is: HERE.
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenges.
2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card.
3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword CAS298 when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenges with any other challenge.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your project is seen.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We can't wait to see what you create!
It was difficult choosing a CAS FAVORITE card this week but after looking and looking I settled on this one
LittleSeaOtter-I love your square card and the neutral tones you used. Even though your color palette was neutral your snow man really is a stand out fellow. Remember to grab the badge for your blog.

I used to swipe or stamp with my various sized ink pads quite often. I haven't for a while so it was to use this technique on today's card. Thanks for the challenge!
Janeen- great challenge, just what I needed for this card! Added some bright ribbon and burlap dp- here's Happy Dog
Julia, I'm glad you're having fun. That's what the challenges are about, eh? I love the direct to paper technique and forget about some of those old stand by things i used to do before i had so much stuff.

Hi, I'm a couple days late with the card but here it is! Loved this week's challenge. I had never done this before and the tutorial was really helpful!
