~~~CAS WEEKLY CHALLENGE~~~
March 3
CAS261: Neutrals!
Yes, this week's challenge is the complete opposite of last week. As one of the winners of the design team reveal party trivia game, mamaxsix, chose our next challenge: neutrals. AND, there's also a dessert option like you see in the weekly color challenge - It's completely optional. No stressing allowed!
Dessert Option: Use a natural element.
Inspiration picture attached at the bottom.
KEYWORD: CAS261
It's also great to add the keyword: CAS so that you're in two galleries.
Uploading : Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration, showcase the CAS style and to get us stamping!
Welcome to the new team; the samples look great! Thanks Jen for the chance to suggest the challenge for this week. Hope everyone has fun. I can't wait to see the gallery fill up with neutral goodness.
Congratulations to all of the new designers. Enjoy your time and I look forward to your inspiration. Love the neutral color challenge and will try to see if I can contribute to the gallery.
Yay!!!
CONGRATULATIONS Brenda, Doni and Mary!!!
You are rocking CAS designs and I know you will have GORGEOUS inspirational samples for us during the next three months
Congratulations to the new Design Team! I'm sure we are in store for some fantastic CAS cards. Thank you, Jen & Gail, for today's "neutrals" challenge.
I'm home with yet another snow day (although this time the storm fizzled in my location), so I got to play a little early today. I love all-neutral cards. All too often these colors are limited to sympathy or masculine cards, but my card this week is for my sister-in-law.
I thank and congratulate our new team...so nice to have you here. Here is my Best Friend
My stamping stuff is all packed up as I am going to move on Thursday - but it doesn't stop me from looking at everyone else! Great challenge! Hopefully I will be able to join again soon!
It doesn't get much more CAS for me than this. I just added a sentiment to the lovely paper that just happens to be in the lovely nuetral tones! (oh and three metal accents were added as well).
This challenge to use neutrals made me dance with delight -- and the dessert option of adding something natural actually made me giddy!! Love designing cards with neutrals and natural elements always add an interesting textural element.
I went back to my stamp room and created some more cards to for this challenge. I intended to get some other things done today, but my creative mojo was switched on, so stamping moved up to the top of my to-do list!
Here is my second batch of cards for the challenge, all with the dessert option of an added natural material:
Here's another card for the Neutrals Challenge. This one was made for a sketch challenge from some parts and pieces that didn't make it cards I made earlier in the week for the neutrals challenge.
The dessert option of natural material on this card is recycled excelsior from a food basket we received.
