What is CAS?
CAS is an acronym for Clean and Simple.
It's all about the design .
* not the technique
* not the tools
* not the embellishments
It's all about the design .
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point
It's all about the design .

I've been stalking all night for this thread and it suddenly pops up! Here's my simple offering which turns out to be somewhat similar to Mary's. Hope I didn't take too much artistic license with the sketch. Thanks, Denise.
OK...I couldn't resist playing along with today's CAS sketch...and idea popped in my head right away. I didn't even finish my coffee before I was in my studio stamping my idea!
I am not a CAS kinda girl (although I LOVE looking through the gallery and am very drawn to them visually). It's always a stretch for me when I set out to make a CAS card - my fingers itch to add more!
I was so into this tonight, I made two versions. I'm not sure which one I like better. Oops - I just read HamiltonGal's post and realized it was a sketch challenge. Sorry. I'll try again tomorrow night.

I'm getting started on my New Years resolutions...one of my challenge to self is to learn to do CAS cards instead of the 1-2 hrs. to finish kind....here is mine for this week
I want to put this one here. I hope it is good enough and along the right lines. Please let me know if I need to do something different. Never tried to post one before.
Not sure how to put the pix on here. Any tips on what to do. I don't have a blog. Thanks
Tam
U know Ladies your cards are gorgeous. It makes me ashamed to post anything. I wonderful if I will ever get good at this. Thanks for letting me impose on your.
Tammy, just keep on making cards! Take a look at the first cards any one of us posted, and you will see how we progressed. Getting inspiration from everyone here really helps! Don't feel intimidated.
