This card is in honor of my late brother and my dad who just passed away last summer (This is the first Memorial Day without him). They were both in the Navy - Dad at the end of WWII in the Pacific and David as a submariner during the Vietnam era/Cold War. They were and are my heros. Heros
Location: In my stamp room, stamping, painting, and gluing... with the dogs playing under my feet....

I stumbled on this thread and have to say, you've given me some fabulous ideas!!! Thanks you all..... I just spent some time going through the gallery and WOW!!!
My hubby and I have adopted soldiers through Soldiers Angels and I make cards for friends and even his patients to sign and send to the soldiers. But I don't have to tell all of you how time consuming it can be, and well, clean and SIMPLE doesn't come easy for me!
So thanks for the inspiration and great examples - you given me some fabulous ideas -- LOVE the idea of those yellow ribbons I saw on a few cards.. I definitely plan to add some of those!
