I don't often have time for painting on cards as I am always in a hurry for them to dry so I can complete the cards. Since it is a holiday weekend I have extra time for crafting. Today's challenge Paint on your cards. You can use oil, watercolor, acrylic....what ever kind of painting you want to do, just have fun with it.
Our very creative CAS team has made some GREAT samples if you need some inspiration:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenges.
2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card.
3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword CAS582 when uploading your image, a copy/paste of the keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenges with any other challenges.
Last weeks FAVORITE of the WEEK for CAS586 is JJ with THIS CARD!!!!!!

Lisa- what a fun challenge, thank you! I dug out my kids' watercolor set, and applied the colors to my main panel, fussy cutting it afterwards. Highlighted the flower centers with a yellow marker. Added a darker terra cotta bow to compliment my background cardstock. Here's Christmas flowers

I used the same stamp for two cards; one first generation stamping and the second was the second generation stamping. Different orientations and different sentiments.
I have really been enjoying watercoloring recently (zigs, karin, paints), so was happy to see this challenge. The first one wasn't working the way I'd envisioned, so this is actually my second try! Thanks for looking! CAS587 Just Because by IndigosMom - at Splitcoaststampers

Hello and thanks for letting me play along. I really enjoyed making this card inspired from Tina's tutorial Forums at Splitcoaststampers
THANKS TINA, for the tutorial : )
I know it's a tiny Watercolor painting, but … it's there : ) ENJOY your day!

At first I thought I wouldn't be able to do this challenge because I don't have any 'paints' but then realized I had been 'painting' with distress inks just last week! Doh! I really love these challenges! Thank you so much for setting these up and all the work that goes into them.
I haven’t checked the challenges this week. This card I made earlier today has a painted image. I water colored, using the old water colour crayons from SU.
