Challenge Title:GroovyElements Hostess: Carla Goodlace (scs uvgotcarla)
Keyword: CAS377
Date: Week of May 16, 2016
Who doesn't love to go a little "crazy" every now and then on their cards? I sure do! For this week's challenge, make a focal element or elements (with die cuts or punches) that pop on your card. Have fun! Go for a "watercolor" or "tie-dyed" look with one or more colors. Bring a bit of "grooviness" to your card. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenges.
2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card.
3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword CAS377 when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenges with any other challenge.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your project is seen.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We can't wait to see what you create!
And the FAVE from last week's challenge is: BobbiesGirl with this gorgeous card
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Went with happy colors and did a swipe across my background with my ink pad and also an acrylic block- used pop dots to "pop out" my truck and bottle cap. Here's Summertime

Kathleen - I'd like to know how you achieved the intense tie-dye on your card - I couldn't find anything in your description as to type of paper, ink or technique you used????
Goodness, I'm not sure how CAS this is or how well I accomplished the goal of this challenge, but here is my attempt (combined with the Technique challenge from today):
Can you hear the music? Carla mentioned "Groovy" ... and my oldies started playing in the next instant ... well ... in my imagination that is. Guess what I ended up with?
