Challenge Title: LOVE THE CHIPS!
Hostess: Holly (hbrown)
Keyword: CAS372
Date: Week of 04/11/2016
You know that potato chip commercial where they say you can't eat just one? The same is true about collecting chipboard. I have a ton of chipboard and I just never seem to think about using it when I am creating cards. My challenge to you is to pull out your chipboard and use it on your CAS card today.
No chipboard? Never fear! You can make your own faux chipboard. Just punch or die cut the same image 3 or 4 times, glue them together so they have the thickness of chipboard, and use them on your creations.
1. There is no deadline to play along with the CAS challenges.
2. Take all the time you need to finish and upload your card.
3. Upload your card to your gallery and link back to this thread so we all can see your project.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword CAS372 when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
5. Please feel free to combine the CAS challenges with any other challenge.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your project is seen.
The challenges are to provide inspiration and to get us stamping, so have fun and follow your heART. We can't wait to see what you create!
Since I've never used Chipboard before my BIGGEST challenge ( after finally picking a few pieces to work with) was - how many encyclopedia's does it take to keep my project flat while the glue was drying???
Thank you for this challenge! I have lots of forgotten chipboard; this challenge has inspired me to pull it out and find a way to use it! Here's my card:
This is my card for CAS372 which was to use chipboard. I don't own any, so used a pizza box and a Jello box (backs, of course) and I love how it turned out.
What an awesome challenge. I die cut my butterfly with SU coaster board, which is nice and thick. Looked just like chipboard :-) So happy to play in a SCS challenge today :-)
