What is CAS?
CAS is an acronym for Clean and Simple.
It's all about the design .
* not the technique
* not the tools
* not the embellishments
It's all about the design .
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point
It's all about the design .

~~~CAS WEEKLY CHALLENGE~~~
Hope everyone had a great week...here's what we got for ya this time...
I have recently started art journaling and doing some mixed media art and one thing that shows up in both is COLLAGE work. I have seen some gorgeous cards that are one-layer beauties but have such a great depth and interesting focal points while still being a CAS card. That is often achieved by collage. SO let's see what you can come up with by collage...either with layers or without!
CAS194 Technique COLLAGE
KEYWORD: CAS194
It's also great to add the keyword: CAS so that you're in two galleries.
Leave some love for our dedicated and enthusiastic design team! Here are some amazing samples to help you get started:
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Finally got my internet back. Made this on Monday while I was waiting for Sandy to hit, then lost power for 14 hours and internet for almost two full days.
I'm not very good at collage so this really challenged me. I love using those collage stamps as they are so well put together, but when it comes to me mixing and layering different stamps, I struggle! Here's what I came up with:
