What a great challenge! I found a lovely fabric sample, and have 2 cards done. My lighting is horrible right now and not picking up the colors well, so I'll be back tomorrow to post. I am looking forward to this as a challenge each week.
Just found the challenge. This is great, I love clean and simple cards. So glad you started this challenge. Clean and simple saves on postage, when you send a lot of cards. Thanks

Thank you, thank you... for starting a challenge/outlet for those of us who think 8 layers and multiple distracting embellies are just too much! It sometimes takes more creativity and imagination to come up with an attractive *less is more* card!

Question: Are we supposed to use the inspiration you found or can we find our own? Sorry for the nOObie question, this is only my second challenge.

So for this week's challenge we can choose any of those fabrics for inspiration, not just the ones that inspired the samples (click on the words Joann's Snuggle Fabric in the quote above to go straight to the collection on the Joann web site).
Here is the card I made for the challenge. I had a lot of fun participating, and I've loved seeing what everyone made. I did post a second card on my blog where I simply changed the sentiment, but everything else was the same.
Here's mine. My inspiration fabric is located here. Great challenge!

made this for my little sister in the last round of dss 2008! not inspired by fabric but it is clean and simple! will follow directions next time ,sorry!
I did a challenge card for CAS. It was hard to do a CAS, but it will get easier. I have done very few challenges and I will try to fit them in more often.
Here is my card. I knew if I added anything else to it, it would not be a CAS card. Fluffles CAS01 by bonniejo at Splitcoaststampers
Oh I love this challenge I hope to get back and participate later this evening. I don't like doing overly fussy cards....they are fun.......they are also unmailable as a card or too expensive to mail. I like to be able to use my cards. So I think this will be the challenge for me! Thanks for starting it. Now I need to go back and find post one........

Hi, I haven't been on SCS in months, but I am off this week, so I peeked in...and I am so GLAD to see CAS cards! I was scouring LateBlossom's gallery because I enjoy the clean and simple look! I hope to post one soon!
Just found this CAS challenge and sounds like fun. Thanks for posting, Jen! I have a real appreciation for CAS and hope to pick up some great pointers.

I am so tickled to have found this! I have been leaning toward the CAS cards lately and couldnt pass this inspiration challenge up! Thank you for such wonderful inspiration! This is what I used for inspiration: http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.j...DID=xprd862370
I didn't know about these CAS challenges until today. I made one for the flannel challenge. You can see it here, Flannel Inspired by mrs_hawkins at Splitcoaststampers. I'm away from home with limited supplies, so I don't have a sentiment to put in the bottom corner, but I will before giving the card away.
