Love the idea of stars as the first theme for 2015 - thanks for proposing it, FMCrafter!

Here is my
1st card for January 2015 CCC; 3 to go. This was a fun challenge to use stars. I made the background stars by drawing little 'x' with a silver paint pen. The big one on the tree is a left over from the group of stars on the Sizzix die. I even used my red Sizzix to cut it out - sometimes it's just easier to pull that handle down!

Loving all this starry inspiration. I still need to finish off New Year's cards and a few December birthdays before I start on my January goal.

Here are two for my January quota:
Admiring Heather Telford
Admiring Loll Thompson
I did them for this week's Free for All challenge - to CASE a SCS stamper you admire, which is why the titles of the cards might seem odd!

Someone usually posts a theme for the month but it's only to give you an idea or for you to do if you like the challenge. I usually do at least one card for the theme and then do the rest with whatever theme I want to get my monthly quota done.

It's easy to do when the Christmas tree is still up and I'm still feeling Christmas-y!
