Default Using Gold Leafing

Hello to all....I viewed once on TV using "Gold Leafing" on cards and scrapbooking. Well, instead of keeping on TIVO, I deleted it. :( Does anyone know how to use this very fine paper gold leafing on cards??

there are different ways to use it, but all the ones that come to mind easily for me involve liquid glue.

one thing you can do, if you have say a brass stencil and some embossing paste is do that and let it dry, then use a glue pad on the dry embossing paste and pat the leafing onto that. (brush off the excess)
It looks really cool on dark colored cardstocks.
hth,

Thumbs up Gold leaf application.

Hi,

I've used gold leaf many times. You can stamp any image using versamark, then apply heat and stick powder. Heat up the heat and stick until clear and then tap on the gold leaf. I then use a stipple brush to brush off the excess. It's gorgeous.

Just my 2 cents,
Mary
