I uploaded my February cards (I've made all the pieces just need to add embossing for the stars, ink for the holly and ribbon or twine after I get a few opinions.) These are for my Church's Alternative Christmas event (we sell cards-I use the copyright stamps-don't worry)
I have 50 of everything but need some opinions on the final 3 decisions.
Not sure what is going on with the gallery. Many cards are still pending from this morning, but here is the link:
Here's mine... All 10 are done!!! YEAH... Not too many left to go! Yeah, right! At least at this rate I'll be able to keep up and get enough done for all year... Thanks.
Once again I'm waiting until the last minute to get my cards done. This month I only had enough of the dark green paper for 8 cards - so that's what I did. The paper is from ACMoore and they are 45 mns away -- roadtrip time. Maybe next month I'll be a little more creative. LOL I am so glad to be part of this challenge!!! Here's the link to my card:
Happy Friday everyone! Just a quick update---39 of you (out of 15 have already finished your February cards. Great job!!!!!!! Now the push is on---you've got 5 more days to get those February cards done. You can do it!!!!
I'm heading out of town until next week---don't know if I'll have access to my personal email or not. I will monitor SCS (of course!!!) and will be able to see any PMs (work computer let's me see that at least!).
Well I did get one done!!! LOL But I have submitted it to a magazine for publication so I can't post it yet!!! I doubt it was accepted but hey you never know! LOL
SO I did get to one...that leaves me with 19 left to do....GRRRRRRR I am going to get the ten for this month and catch up on last months....I have to!!!
Thanks for the reminders!

I forgot to post that I did get all of mine finished - and nope, I didn't trust hubby to go find dotted swiss ribbon for me! ;) a stampin' and craftin' friend did that for me. I can't upload any photos yet, but they are all done.

I had posted for opinons before I finished all of mine. I now have 20 done (just in case I am not on the finished list yet). I used gingham with hemp for some and just hemp for the rest. (see my post above if I am not making sense)

I just finished 10 cards for August. That means I have January, February, July, and August done. I'm working hard on my September cards. I really need to get done early.
I'm finally finished with my February cards. I uploaded the photo of the card a couple of days ago, but I waited to post here until I was done with all 10. I had to try the Dazzling Diamond Dust technique, and I really like it.
I finished these last week. Now on to packing up the house. We're moving to our new house in March, so I don't know if I'll be able to fulfill March's "commitment".
Someone made the suggestion to have a separate thread to just have general discussion about ideas and such. I started one in the Christmas Challenge folder-- Forums at Splitcoaststampers

My FEB06CCC upload. Whew.........just in the nick of time......again! Oh well, 10 is way easier than 60+ before the busy holiday season. Hope I still like my cards in Dec....tee...hee!!! Pending approval at 9:15 p.m. PST.
I just now remembered that I was waiting on my picture to be approved before I said that I was done with February. DUH!!! Here's the link (better late than never). I only did 8 cards instead of 10 because I ran out of the green paper and AC Moore is 45 mns away. :-) Thanks for looking.
I couldn't drop out now! I worked on them today, and they're ALMOST done, so I'm counting it done. Everything is almost cut, it just needs to be stuck, and I got more for that on an errand at lunch. Here's the link to the first of 10.

I know I'm getting down to the wire here but I did it!!! I saw an Easter card in this format on SCS. I changed it slightly for Christmas. Here is my card link: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
As I post this note, it is still in the pending approval process.
Okay, I got my February cards. 12 this time and they are the same as the January cards, but here's the link anyway. These cards are too bulky for mailing, so these are the ones I put into my neighbor and co-worker gift baskets. I made 15 in January, the 12 this month, and I need another 23 and then I'll start on my "real" mailable ones in April. I'm thinking of using the elements from the SU Leadership thank-you card make-and-take, but I haven't gotten around to what images exactly. But since I already know what I'll be doing for March, I have time to craft something. Any ideas would be much appreciated though ;-)
Thanks for having this challenge, it definitely is motivating.

Whew, I just got my Feb cards uploaded. Sheesh, I've been procrastinating these cards Jan & Feb so far (to be fair, lots of other swaps to complete); but I sure am glad it's Feb & not Dec again this year!
I finally made a decision on what to use for my February cards. I know that people who are very traditional will have a hard time with this, but I really love how it turned out and will probably use the same design for more months of the challenge. Here's my card with more Christmas roses.
I have my Feb. cards done. I will try to upload it this weekend. It should not be this hard to get 10 cards done in one month!!! I'll do better next month - I think I said that at the end of Jan. also.

Hi ladies! Let me know (if you haven't already in this thread) if you finished your February cards so I can update the spreadsheet. I'll be heading back home tomorrow and will draw the February winner on Sunday!
Here's the link for our new March thread.... I can't believe how many have already finished their cards for March!! You go girls! Forums at Splitcoaststampers
Here is the link to my Feb. card. I was all set to upload them yesterday, then realized we are not supposed to upload on Sundays. Better late than never... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Off to work on March cards. Hope to be done by the end of the month.

My Feb cards are now done. I'm not posting them because I did a total case and don't want to repost a nearly identical card. Now, can I get March done before the end of the month?

Some of the "over achievers" in the group have already started on April cards (you go girls!) and have started a new thread. When you're done with April, please post here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
