I'm not sure what to do now. The call center where DH and I work are closing and will be laid off soon. Between my team and DH's team that is 60-80 Christmas cards that I no longer have to make. Even if we send cards to all of our good friends made there, I still should have more than enough Christmas cards. Even if another company buys it and we go back to work, I'm not sure if we'll still need that many Christmas cards. I was thinking that I might do, birthday, anniversary etc cards instead. Or I might to all occasion sets for Christmas presents or for craft fairs. I'll have to think about it.

Oh NO! That's terrible news. So does this mean both of you will be out of work? Yikes. I think birthday cards is a great idea. Next to Christmas I use those the most often.

my cards are finished - I actually did them last month right after the VSN. I've started doing a few Christmas cards for several of the challenges to get me started on CCC06! then I only have to make another handful and I'm done!

Taryn, I can't tell you how sorry I am for all that you are going through. As for the cards, have you also thought about doing Christmas thank you notes? Birthday cards are a great idea also.

all of you take care! I'll try to do some gallery window shopping this weekend to take a look at your fun creations!

Default CCC06 June Card

I too had my June cards done several weeks ago. With my mother's back surgery and my grandfather's hip replacement surgery, I knew I would not have time to get my June cards done this month. So, I got them done ahead of time. Mom and grandpa are doing very well, so I just may be able to find some time to make my July cards sometime towards the end of this month

My June cards are done! With my FIL dying last week and all funeral arrangements made (while we wait for the funeral which isn't until Friday) it was a great de-stresser to come up with a design and get them all finished. I thought this was a fun card. I am so excited to have 60 cards done AND 27 stamped gift tags! AND I am proud to say this design is my own - totally my own (not a cased thing in the bunch!)!!!!

Sorry to hear about your loss. Glad to hear that stamping was able to take your mind off of things for at least a little while

I'm so happy that I finished my June cards with 16 days to spare. It helps to have a "Stamp Day" with a friend to get some stamping done and nothing else (besides chasing after kids). :-) Anyway, here's the link to my card. Enjoy the sneak peak!

I am done with my June cards. So excited to get them done early in the month. I will try to post the cards later. I seem to be having troubles getting into the gallery tonight.

I have my June cards done. I was making my daughter's birthday cards and realizes that I didn't have any birthday cards for kids. I made 20 of these because I sent 10 out for RAKs so I still had 10 left over. I will get back to Christmas next month.

Wow!! You guys are awesome!!!!!! I've been a little out of touch for awhile but you've kept on chugging on those Christmas Cards!! I can't believe it's July already.......where has the time gone?!?!?!?

For those of you looking for the July thread.......here you go!!!
Forums at Splitcoaststampers

Congrats to dpierstamper for being the first one done for July IN July!!! If you send me your mailing address, I'll get the prize out to you.

And a big congrats to stace---you were randomly chosen as the June winner!!! Woo Hoo! Send me your mailing address and your prize basket will be on its way!!!

I've been busily working on a once-a-year event (airshow) that was just held so I'm back in the stamping business now. Hopefully I'll be getting an email message out to everyone with an updated spreadsheet in the next few days. Sorry I've been hiding out.......

We're on the downhill slide now so keep those cards coming!!!! :p

I finally got some cards done! Am I correct in thinking that these 10 can count as June cards since it is before the end of July? Then I will have to start July right away. I did 10 today using a OSW. I can't upload them until tomorrow. Am I posting in the right place? Also I don't know how to post the link to the thread but I will try that tomorrow when I am not so tired.

Finished these recently and keep forgetting to post here. I have June's completed and did 15 of them.

I have finished my June/July cards. I made 24 of the same ones that I did before. So far this challenge I've gotten 78 cards done. More than half way to my goal. Yeah!
