As usual I'm late joining everything! Hope it's not too late to jump in. I would like to shoot for 3 a month since I have no long term projects this year. Thanks so much Vikkijo for doing this.
For those of you who know me and know what I've been dealing with.
I want to share some thing personal and this injury related.....
Because of all this pain and inability to make cards, I am sad. Actually depressed, sure I have had moments of really bad thoughts
So I had to go 'talk' with a doc. she totally understood where I was coming from, and put me on Cymbalta and Celebrex, hoping that I might sleep for more than 1 or 2 hours at night and relax a bit.
Well Work Comp decided they needed a full Mental Health History on me. Some how it is all mess up, it says that I was prescribed Seroquel (NEVER WAS) and I am diagnosed with a Personality Disorder.
My DH is on Seroquel and has been since 2007 he has a Personality Disorder UFF DA
So now they think I need to go in for a 2 week in patient program
If I had a personality Disorder I don't think I could have made friends wit all of you nor stayed committed to any of the challenges on this site! LOL
Just had to share that I found it a bit hilarious
Wow...what a mess! I hope the pros get their act together, and hopefully you will not need 2 weeks in-patient care. Maybe out-patient will do
I used to be a music therapist in a psych unit, saw many people with personality disorders, as well as depression and anxiety etc. It is good to get help. {{{HUGS}}}
And for what it's worth... all of my obsession with colors, new stamps, ribbon, pattern paper, SCS challenges...some of my friends and family might consider this hobby akin to a *personality disorder*
just sayin'
;)

Better late than never. I've signed up for the All Occasions challenge so I'll give this one a go too. Just sign me up for one card a month for this year. Thanks
OMG so they must have your and DH mixed up??? I am so sorry to hear you are still having problems...did the Cymbalta & Clelebrex seem to help?
Take care my thoughts are with you and I so agree with you, you have tooo many freinds on SCS. Hugz!!!!!
I don't think any of the drugs have down anything more than make my stomach miserable, or make my head fuzzy. the pain in my arm is so intense at times, I'd rather get Tazed by a cop! LOL
As for the mix up... It's not our records that got goofed or crossed, I had told the doc that my DH was on (named off all his meds)
No clue how that ended up as I was prescribed it.
As promised I went on the search for help with uploading using a MAC
Cross your fingers someone pops in here with some answers for you
I have no clue and of NO help at all on that topic
I did add a link to a video on the first post (it's by Lydia)
Uploading photos from as Mac is the same process as windows, what you cannot do or I have not been able to do is upload from my iPad. The photos have to be reduced in size to upload the photos. I always fight with this so I started emailing my photos to myself because you are prompted to pick the size of the photo so I always pick the smallest size. Then I save the photo to my desk top and upload as usual.
I'd like to join, I have a goal of 6 each month.
Was part of the challenge two years ago then in January my oldest brother was hospitalized; he passed away that June. I really didn't stamp all summer.
This is a fresh start to a commitment I've been wanting to do for a long time!
Thanks so much for sharing your creativity and energy with us!
Thanks for all your organisation Vikkijo! I love having all my cards done when it comes time to send out Christmas Cards!! My goal is the same as last year, 5 cards per month, 55 in total. Thanks, Raewyn!
In again this year, I always get my cards done...I just don't remember to upload them. Will try to be better at that this year!!! I love this challenge, it keeps me on task all year!

I'm signing up for my 4th year. The first year I wasn't too good about getting all the months completed but then the 2nd year I completed all 10 cards per month and this year I completed 8 cards per month for the full 11 months. This has been a real blessing as I enjoy working on Christmas cards. Really have enjoyed having so many different designs for the year. Thank you!
Please put me down for 8 cards per month.
Once I sent out my cards in 2012, I realized that 8 cards a month wasn't enough. I need to up that to 10 per month and that's what I did in January.
Happy stamping, everyone!

Growing through challenges
It's funny that I think five cards a month is too many but when I add upnthe list, well it gets bigger every year, still five a month is enough though, for now!!
i might have to up my goal. will keep it at 12 for now but is it okay to come back and change later??
absolutly...you do what you need...and if you have more...celebrate....if you still need more....well, it's better than having them all to do in Dec. y'know?

I hope I helped.
