After making over 100 cards for Christmas this year I decided I better make them throughout the year instead of trying to get them all done in November and December. Sign me up for 8 a month.
Hi All!! Trying to get myself back I to the swing of things after quite a hiatus! Sounds like a Christmas card Challenge might be what I need. So, please sign me up for 4 a month. Hopefully I can do more, but want this to be FUN, not stressful!!

Hi! Can the new girl sign up for this? I had some pink in my cheeks this year when I didn't have enough homemade cards (I was bad and started on Thanksgiving weekend thinking I'd get done...lesson learned!) So... can I be put down for 2 cards a month?
Well how smart is this idea!! Glad I saw Charlene mention it in one of her posts!! Sign me up for 4 per month - might be a mix of cards and tags, but they'll be Christmasy!!!
You're forgiven, Sheri. I just thought it was pretty funny. Couldn't resist giving you a little ribbing. Actually, I'm amazed that you're keeping up at all. You're my hero.
Sarah, welcome to SCS and our fun group. You're going to be real happy come November. You can work ahead, too, especially when you know you're going to have a busy month. I try to have all my cards through July done by the end of March because I know I'm not going to have much time in July. Doesn't always happen, but getting even a couple months ahead is nice.
Welcome to the group, Laurie. The monthly challenges are a big help to get the mojo going.
Hi, I'm back again for 2013! I do find it hard to get my cards uploaded to my gallery, but I was making cards last year. I did need a few extra, but I think I'm going to stick with making 5 every month.
Hope everyone has a very Happy New Year.

I'm in for 4 cards a month please ! I do a lot of weekly challenges but have never done these monthly Christmas cards - It's SO much easier to do them a few all year than ALL in December that's for sure!!

Wow, it's great to see how many of us are playing this year, I learned a lot from last years challenge.
1. Make sure your cards fit envelopes that can be bought ie; C6 or DL (these are the post office prefered sizes too, in Australia) it is so time consumming to have to make the envelopes as well.
2. Completely finish your card with your insert and or inside greeting
3. Make sure you sign the back of your card (I'm going to try and do all of this before I upload)
4. Limit the embellishments if you are posting your cards. I love bows buttons and bling but it can become quite expensive to post these cards.
5. The most important of all is have fun, fun, fun but don't backlog I just never cought up and didn't get Octobers or Novembers done.
oh boy....some more newbies to get addicted....teehee....so glad to see y'all...
Marg...great list...#2 is my personal goal for this yr...2012 was the first yr I did this and I was just so darn excited to be getting mine done that I left that for last and it was a pain....
Hi all, since Kelli has to bow out next yr., Vikki asked me to help with the cheerleading duties. I just love cheerleader outfits so of course I said yes...and of course mine will be pink and sparkly...;) so get ready for lots of RAH RAH RAH!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!
This list will be duplicate of VickiJo's so that I can try to keep track of the peeps playing along, if 2 of us do this, hopefully no one will get lost

Cheers
I can't disagree with any of them but #2 is my goal too for 2013, I always leave it till last then get mad because I am having to rush - no 'fun' there!!
Okay, I did this two years ago and was ahead of the game. Didn't do this last year and had a mess in Nov. So I'm back this year hoping to do 5 cards a month.
Count me in for 5 each month. I made cards each month last year, but didn't make it uploading them. It is the best feeling to have all my cards done and in envelopes by Thanksgiving.
Please count me in (thought I had already signed up but then remembered it was for another challenge). I had a generally disastrous year in 2012 so am determined to do better and have encouraged a friend to join me in making Christmas cards each month - we're going to pick a theme each week from a list I've drawn up. I shall probably link to my blog rather than a SCS gallery because I don't have one, and anything technical (like setting one up) hurts my brain
so glad to have you here Fiona....any way you want to post them is fine. We can certainly help you setting up a gallery also if you wish. It's really very simple (has to be for me to get it) I think that is a wonderful idea to do it with a friend...you'll have a grand time
Sign me up again. I sign up and usually don't post....but, will try to do that this year.
I HAVE to make so many cards every month...so, I am motivated this year to really do it.
